Chapter 13: Goodnight

          “Do you understand now Glacey? I want to have a name- a name that only I have! That’s why, even if it means death, I’ll go! Maybe, just maybe, this fight will finally give me a name!”

                   “Agneous…”

                   He then stood up- away from the arms of Glacey who caught him.

                   “Agneous, what the hell?!”

 Blaze was screaming towards him and wanted to go near him but Gan grabbed his hand.

“Blaze, stay here.” He said.

          “But why? He’s gonna die there! I’ve gotta help him!”

          “Why do you think everyone is staying still? Look! Hyza, Elane, Gianne and Glacey- They’re not reacting. Why do you think this is happening?”

          “Why?”

          “Because Agneous is looking for a purpose in this world. He is looking for the meaning of his life. You heard him- he wanted a name of his own- not from you nor anyone else. Leave him be. Maybe, this is his answer.”

          “Bu--”

“Just watch. We’ll see the results.”

With that, Agneous stood up and called Flareouz.

“Let’s go! Flareouz, one more time!”

“Master, I swear until the end of time, I will always be a loyal servant. It will never change!”

Gaste held on to Hebi no Kiba again.

“You know, I like you! You make my blood boil of excitement!” he said. “”. He continued.

With that, Hebi no Kiba released energy that resembled a gigantic cobra at the tip of the blade as Gaste held on to it pointing not to Agneous, nor Gan nor Blaze but Glacey. He was aiming at Glacey.

“Attack: Goddess’ shoot of molten magma!” screamed Agneous to the top of his lungs.

As both attacks were done, a large explosion occurred. It was a displeasing incident. Although both of them were injured, with burnt areas on Gaste’s body, Agneous was hit right on his heart as he was protecting Glacey of the attack.  Blood was shed. He was sweating hard. The wound was deep. But, Gaste wasn’t contented. He pushed as hard as he could until the blade reached its end. Hues of red were seen all over.  Agneous looked at Glacey as she was paralyzed of fear and shock- shedding tears seeing her friend bleeding hard.

“Gla…Glacey… don’t give me that look.”

She continued to weep.

“Why? Why did you save me? WHY AGNEOUS?!”

“I have no regrets. I have a name… the one sacrificed his life for his love.”

Gaste pulled off. Glacey then ran to Agneous as he continued to bleed.

                   All the other guardians were there too- surrounding Agenous.

                   “Bro! why? Hey! Wake up! Don’t you dare leave me!!!!” said Blaze.

                   Gianne, Hyza and Elane stood back to give the time to the siblings and Glacey. Gan was there too, together with the crew.

                   “Blaze… Thanks for being the point of my goal. It’s because of you that I want to become stronger. I thank you for that…”
