My little pet had been quite useless in the search for her. Perhaps I should have chosen another wizard to serve me. James Potter had been her great failure. She had thought since Fleamont Potter had died of Dragon Pox it would be easy to imperius his son into following her every command but he just wouldn't succumb as much as she wanted him to.
James Potter was indeed a powerful wizard, almost too powerful for the imperius curse, but she was wiser and stronger than he could ever be.
"M-master. I have f-found the girl"
It was enjoyable seeing the almighty James Potter stutter and bow before her.
"You insolent fool. Why didn't you bring her to me?"
He shivered not out of fear but out of disgust. It was his fault. He had let his guard down and master had taken advantage of it.
"H-he was there"
On the outside, he looked as if he were petrified but on the inside, he was secretly grinning. After spending years under the master's control he had never sent him to capture anyone. What was so special about this girl?
Master gained a murderous glint in his eyes. James wondered how the girl and master were connected. It wasn't often that master wanted to catch someone. Usually, the master only made James take out potential threats with the Avada Kedavra spell. He hated killing but the Imperius curse wasn't one of the unforgivable for no reason. It was immensely powerful and could even make the strongest witches and wizards bow.
"Take me to him"
Without any hesitation, James put his arm over master's arm and they disappeared with a loud crack.
