Lance ripped of the warning note his mom had put on the fridge.
As if he was going to listen to his mom on this matter. He'd yet to hear about a teenager who'd not taken advantage of his/her parents going out for the weekend.
His friends had started trickling in. Obviously, it was a party. It was going to be awesome. The only glitch in the plan would be Emma, who was strangely AWOL. Well, as long as she didn't ruin it, she was the best sister.
"Laney!!! Missed you so much douche bag!!!" Said Margaret, a pretty red head that Lance had a HUGE crush on. Of course she didn't know. They had that normal casual thing- a kiss here and there, but nothing serious. He wanted it to be serious, but he knew he had to wait. Which was why he had to do stuff like parties to impress her. Anyone else would have been skinned alive for calling him 'Laney', but Marge calling him that? No problem.
"This is an amazing party. By the way, do you have more red cups? We're over."
"Already? How many did you get here?" He asked.
"Almost everyone in freshmen year, and some sophomores. Do you mind?" She asked sweetly.
"N-no, not at all. I'll just get them." He left and went towards the Barn, where they kept stuff like that, against Mom and Dad's knowledge, obviously. He left via the back entrance. The sun broke through the sky. The ground was a bit slippery, but Lance managed not to slip. As he neared the Barn, he noticed that the entrance to the Barn had muddy footprints. He inched closer and saw the door slightly open.
What the heck? He thought.
Fearing for the worst, he opened the door.
He opened the door to find his sister and Peter Norman under a pile of sheets, most definitely naked.
He ran.

Before her brother came, Em had been the most happy and carefree person in the world.
That was Peter's assumption.
Now he watched surprised as Em let out curse words so bad, in almost every language, he thought he would have to wash her mouth with soap.
Before Lance had come, Em had been great. They'd been awake, letting this knowledge that they'd finally Done It, seep into them. It wasn't awkward, not really. It felt right, actually. Peter remembered his sister quoting different lines from different romance novels, one of them being: 'When the time is right, you'll know it, and with the right person, too.' He'd chocked on whatever he'd been eating then 'cause your sister shouldn't talk about how great sex was at the right time while you were eating food.
Girls are weird.
Staring into Em's eyes, he stroked her cheek. They were still pretty much wet from the rain, and the bed sheets had soaked in some of the water.
"You're beautiful like this." He'd admitted. It was like one of those blinds had been removed from his eyes. Maybe Em wasn't gorgeous as Kelly Riker or his sister, but she was beautiful in her own way, and, anyway, they weren't his type at all. They were having the 'romantic moment', when bloody Lance Deyton ruined it by walking in and screaming like a little girl.
Ok, not screaming, but gasping like he had a heart attack. Maybe seeing his sister like this was a shock. Peter would definitely been gasping like a fish if he'd seen his sister like that. Then he'd probably beat the shit out of the guy she was sleeping with.
Thank god Lance didn't do that.
So now, he saw Em running around, still cursing as she searched for her 'emergency' clothes. In just her underwear, which was a bright pink in colour. She looked great.
