Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning coughing.

I shrugged it off walking to my closet.

I pulled out skinny jeans a blouse and biker boots (I know 50's girls don't wear skinny jeans or biker boots but just pretend)

I put my hair in a high ponytail red lipstick and eyes liner.

I walked into the living room with another cough.

"Sweetheart are you sure your okay?" Mum asked checking my head.

"Yeah, I'm going to go see the gang." I said.

"Okay, no leaving." Mum said.

I nod I ran out the door as the hot sun light hit my eyes.

I got to Pony's front lawn to see him on the porch.

He saw me and opened his arms.

I ran to him wrapping my arm around his shoulders pressing my lips on his.

I kissed him as he kissed me back.

I pulled away as our foreheads touch.

"Your head feels hot?" I said.

"I think I'm getting sick." He mumbled.

"Me too, we'll be sick together." I said.

We let go of each other and walked into his house.

I looked to see the whole gang than blushed they saw everything even I kiss.

"Want to tell us anything PonyBoy?" Darry asked.

"Jessie and I have been dating for five days." PonyBoy said.

"And I should be going." I said walking to the door as Steve pulled me back.

"Oh no you don't let me look at your hair red head." He said.

I coughed as he moved back away hitting the air.

"Jessie what the hell?" Steve asked as Soda grabbed his shoes.

"I'm getting sick." I said.

"No smoking a pack today PonyBoy." Darry said.

"Don't worry if I'm here he won't." I said as pony rolled his eyes.

Darry Steve and Soda walked out as Two sat on the ground with a beer and a cake.

"Lets go to my room before he starts laughing like a manic." Pony said.

We walked into his room as he pulled me on his bed.

"And what do you think your doing." I asked him.

"This." Pony said pressing his lips on mine.

I smiled into the kiss pressing down harder.

Pony's hands went under my blouse leading his hands to the back of my bra taking it and my shirt off breaking the kiss.

"I got this family reunion in three weeks." I said.

My hands went to his belt taking it off slowly.

"Can I come? I never met your father's side of the family." Pony said.

'He just ruined the moment.' I thought.

I got off putting on my bra and shirt.

"Jessie is something wrong?" Pony asked.

"Yeah. I don't want you to meet my father's side. their socials if a greaser came it would be bad." I said walking out.

Carter and I walked I to the hospital to visit Johnny.

"I'm here to visit my brother Johnny Cade." I said to the nurse at the front desk.

"Right this way." The nurse said as Carter tighten my hand.

We walked into Johnny's room to see him facing the ground with a mirror.

"Hey Johnny." I said pulling up a chair.

"Hey Jessie." Johnny said.

"Dally's fine he's alive and well." I said.

"Thank god." Johnny said.

Tears beamed to my eyes as I was about to cry.

"I'm sorry this happen to you Johnnycakes." I cried.

"Don't blame yourself Jessiecakes." Johnny said.

"I can't lose you Johnny." I cried.

"Ill be with you all the way even in heaven." Johnny asked.

"Don't you mean Neverland?" I said.

He was about to reply as the door opened to revel PonyBoy and Two-Bit.

I wiped my tears getting up walking to the door.

"Jessie I'm sorry." Pony said grabbing my hand.

"Not right now." I said letting go.

I met Carter outside getting into the car.

"I saw PonyBoy and Two-Bit walk in are you alright?" Carter asked driving away.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said staring out the window.
