I love Kasham.... Though she is annoying my baby Kendra

Waking up, it took me some minutes to realise where I was.
It felt comfortable sleeping on this fluffy  bed. Don't get me wrong, I love my bed at home. In fact I can kill for it.

'Good morning ken'

'Good morning Keren, how was your night'.

'It was great and yours?'.

'Very well' I replied standing up to make the bed.

'So you have to take your bathe, and come down for breakfast. I am going downstairs.' She said moving close to the door
I went to bathroom,brush my teeth. After that, I called home to check how they were doing.
I decided to call Kendrol as well.
After four rings he pick.

'Hello'

'Good morning'

'Morning princess, how was you night?'

'It was wonderful and yours?'

'Good. how is everyone at home'.

'They are great, but am not home, am at keren's place'.

'Anything great happening there?'

'I came for her cousin's birthday'.

'Enjoy your self. I really have to go now am busy'

'OK..'

I came downstairs afterwards.

This house really nice.

You have said that a hundred time. But I can't help it, it great.

I saw Keren's   mom going into the kitchen and I followed her.

'Good morning ma'.

'Morning dear,I hope your night was great?.'

'Yes ma it was'.

'OK, go join them at the dinner. the food will be ready in minute'.

She said pointing at the dinning room direction.

'Ok ma, can I help with anything?'.

'No. just go, I will be right behind you.'

Going to the dinning table, I
spot Keren sitting at the opposite end of the table. A lady which I guess is her sister and a guy with an elderly man were sitting at the dinning already. They seems preoccupy doing one things or the other.

'Good morning'.

'Good morning'. The guy at the table answered without looking up.

The lady murmur, replying the greeting. It was actually the  elderly man that answer with a smile.

Weird family.

I sat down close to Keren.

'Dad this is Kendra my friend. You came home late yesterday so I couldn't introduce her to you.

Keren said breaking the silence

'It nice meeting you kendra'. He  uttered subtly then concentrate on the newspaper he was reading.

'Kendra, this my sister Roseline and my brother Kevin'.

'Hi'. I said sheepishly

'Where do you live'. Roseline asked

'I stay in  Ajegunle' I said

'Slum' she mutter though I heard her. She continue  with whatever  she was doing on her phone. I have officially dislike her for using where I live to define me.

'You look pretty though.' Hrr brother finally look up and winks at me.

Have officially dislike this one too.

'Food is ready everyone, keep your phones and eat .' Keren's mother said breaking the awkwardness in the room.

I thank her for that inwardly.

After meal we excuse ourselves to get ready to go for birthday party.

'Mom am leaving!' Keren shouted from the door way.

'Alright Ker, my regards to my sister and kendra I hope to see you soon.'

'Alright ma, thanks for the hospitality '.

'You welcome'.

'Keren don't forget to kiss your cousins on my behalf.'

'I won't Mama'

To those who find the greeting unnecessary, it important in the story.
The country where the setting of the story take place regards greetings and the use of 'MA' and 'SIR' with great importance.
So I know upholding the culture will give more uniqueness to the story.
