Taking tricycle and public transport is my basic means of transportation to lessen the fees rate. Lagos road is very busy as usual and there are lot of traffic jam. Right this moment, the traffic jam is high and classes start by eight. Am Twenty minute late already.
Getting to school, I went straight to the lectures hall, I felt like dying,especially the moment when I entered the class, it gone completely mute and all eye were on me. I quietly went to sit down. Miss Kendra the psychology Lecturer called my name 'why are you late?you know I don't tolerate late coming in my class and you still let it happen. The next time this happen, you won't attend my classes for a whole semester.'
'I promise it won't happen again' I replied.
I sat down with my course mate and friends ,Keren and Kasham as the lecture continue after my supposed interruption.
During break we sat down at the school garden center.
'That lecture was so boring and the more he talks about Erik Erikson psychosocial stages the more confused I become.' Keren said.
Kasham Laugh 'Am seriously getting bad grades in his course'
'Try harder you might get high grade.' i replied her.
'Hey kendra,do you like my dress, I bought it yesterday to impress David.' Kasham changed the subject of discussion.
'Like he noticed you' Keren replied her.'
'I bet he doesn't because he is flirting with that new girl'. I said looking towards our lecture hall were David was flirting with the new girl in class.
'He will notice me pretty soon' she replied back with a grin on her face.
Kasham grin means vengeful and the last time she grin about a guy who refuse to notice her, the guy's girlfriend end up having chilling mix with powder in her makeup and she was crying badly after she apply the makeup on her face.
'Whatever, remind me why I made you both my friend.'
'Because you can't do without us'. we both replied
'Kendra do you notice that guy that is always staring at you from distance' Keren said.
'I noticed too except Kendra don't have eyes, that's the only way she won't notice. Did you notice his so hot and got handsome look.'
'You both should quit talking, I am aware and I don't care'
Before they make another comment, I stood up 'cuties can we leave now,you guys lectures start in five minute and I have to get to the library.'
'Yea I forgot Kendra is our personal time keeper and a bookworm. You are such a joy- killer, I was admiring that guy since David is absent'.
