Kaynat

Opening the door,I reluctantly removed my shoe and lay on the cushion.
Thinking of the incident that happen early. I felt really dejected. it one thing to see my dad but the fact that he raised his hands to slap me, I wasn't accepting that.

You shouldn't have insulted him.

He deserved all the insult.

Maybe I was too harsh on him.

But I was so angry, why would they betray mom that way. In fact I have to stop talking to myself before I go crazy.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and look up.
'Ken what happen to you. Have been calling your name almost  a minute'.
Standing up, I carried my bag...'sorry Kay, I didn't hear you call. Am going to sleep.'

'I know you said you would be back before nightfall but it just noon and where is Keren?'.

'There was change of plan, and Keren went back home after dropping me'.
Turning my face to look at her....'what's wrong sis, you don't look jovial. The party didn't went well?'

'What can I tell you...'

'Everything, sit down.' Collecting my bag from me, she made me sit.
'I met dad today'

There was silence for about two minutes..

'You are joking right?, where on earth will you see dad. Definitely I know he won't come to this filthy neighborhood.'

Seeing my mood she realized I wasn't joking.

'Seriously? where, when, how?'
Standing up in anticipation, she walked around the room.

'Dad happens to be the father of the celebrant'.

I see she was trying to figure out the whole thing.

'Wait a minute, you mean you saw Gift and Dad. Which means Gift is Keren's Aunt because dad don't have siblings.'

'Very correct'.

'What the hell! and Keren never told you about it.'

'I think she doesn't know either. She was as surprised as me. She even told me she had issues with her aunt.
I saw a look of doubt in her face....'I don't believe her. Of all the whole places in the world why did you end up in that house.'

'I don't know sis. Maybe it was finally time to meet him. Fate'

'It so ironic that your friend aunt is dad's wife and Mom ex-best friend.'

'I never would have imagined.'

'Am sorry sis that you have to see that terrible Man and whore'.
She said intertwining our hands.
