It been two weeks back to back since the trial have been going on.
We are all sat waiting anxiously for the judge to arrive. Few moment later the bailiff appeared and demand that all rise as the judge entered in his black robe.
Wearing his reading glasses, he said the rules that must be followed or the person will be throw out.

'This is the final hearing of the case between Mrs. Lambadmas vs Mr. Kendrol Lambadmas.'
Gazing around the court, he continued.
'The defendant is Kendrol Lambadmas and the theory is that he is innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof is on the prosecution.' He said making eyes contact with Grayson.

According to Grayson the attorney representing Kendrol is Mr. Federico who as spend fifteen years in the legal field.

Mr. Federico stood up to give an opening statement. Facing the curious crowd, he adjusted his tie.
'My client have been accused of rape,murder assault and battery.'
He pause to look at Kendra, who didn't even notice.
'Although he is innocent until proven guilty.
Murmurs could be held from all angles in the courtroom. The judge as to hit his gravel severally to maintain silence.

'I call on Mrs. Kendrol lambadmas to the stand.'
Quietly standing with my support she walk to the stand.'

'On the 24th of June, it was alleged that my client beat you up, can you explain to the court what really happened.'

'On that day, I came home to ask my husband.... Kendrol for an annulment.
'Oh, you were both having some marital issues.' He asked looking interested

'Yes and I realized we weren't compatible any longer.'

'Why is that? Because you're having an affair and wanted to be with your lover.? He asked innocently, the people gasps in shock. I was surprise with his statement too because I know my sister won't do such a thing. I felt like going over there and rip him apart.
'Objection my lord.' With full force Grayson slam the desk.

'On what ground do you make your objection.' The judge question Grayson.

'My opposing attorney is going sideline. He should ask questions relating to the case.'

Jotting something down, he look at Federico.' The court want you to go straight to the point,no one want to sleep here.'

He nod in reply

'Mrs Kendra supposedly have a lover named Desmond Williams. Footage and pictures were taken on several occasion. He was also present the my client was arrested. Your Highness he also battered my client face in the ground that it was self defence.'

Kendra stare at the mean lawyer. 'That's not true. He isn't my lover instead he came to protect me from this monster.' She was pointing at Kendrol.

'Did you or did you not go to Desmond Williams house on the fifteen of June.'
'I did that'd because my husband raped me.'

'Do you have any witness or evidence to back up your claims.'

'No'
'You were pregnant, did your husband ever know?'

'No'

'Why?'

'Because I wanted to protect my baby.'
