Desmond was anxiously waiting in the luxurious Eko hotel and suite. Checking his watch, it was ten minutes past seven and Kendra is not here yet.
He prayed inwardly she comes if not, that means she is still upset with him.
Just in time, he gaze met with the door, she walk gracefully through the door rendering him speechless with her eloquent steps and glowing appearance.
Her sight was breathtaking he must confess.
Kendra asked the waiter for the reserve sit number. Their eyes met, waving at him, she  let out her magical smile mesmerizing him further.

'Hello Desmond.' He uttered as he adjust the chair for her to sit.

'Hi babe... I seriously thought you won't come.'

'Well you thought wrong. I went to the wrong wings, I was directed here afterwards.'

Giving her a look over, he secretly smile at his perfect choice. The blue crystal sleeveless gown looks perfect on her.

'You are looking gorgeous.' He marvelled.

'Thanks and you ain't looking bad either.' She replied
His tailored suit looks incredibly perfect on him.

'So tell me how did your day go.' He said as the waiter served the first course meal.

Recurring the event that happen earlier she smiled.

'Hey I asked what happen and you smiling already. Remember i can't read you mind so tell me already.

She told him about her dad visiting, and the couriered pack.

Desmond was trying hard not to laugh, but he couldn't resist.

'You actually thought it was a bomb in there.'
She nod and smile.

'Who wouldn't think that, I have never received a courier in my life so it was so surprising.'

'But a bomb?, no one hate you that much or don't tell me you belong to a political party or cult that we don't know about.'

Flicking her hair in place, she gave a bright healthy laugh.

'Hey am innocent as an ant.'

'Ant do bite.' He argued

You right, she thought.

'As innocent as a virgin.'

'Correct, that I can't argue.
