When Two Worlds Collide

•Chapter Eleven•

ANNIE'S POV
I find something that catches my eye. It's a picture of Hayden and I when we first met at the airport. By looking at the angle of the picture, it looks like Mr Jimmy (Hayden's Dad) took it. I wonder if he recently printed it out, or if he has had it since it was taken. Hayden comes behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. He rests his head on my shoulder and we both look at the picture.

A-How long have you had this sitting here?
H-Since day one. I knew you had to be mine. I put it on my bedside table so I can see it every night before I go to sleep and every morning when I wake up.
A-Aww really?
H-Of course! I have another copy if you want it. It's slightly smaller, but it's the same picture.
A-Sure!

Hayden hands me the picture, and I put it behind my clear phone case. Now I can look at it all the time without losing it. We walk back outside to the car and drive to dinner. We eat at Olive Garden, and I sit next to Hayden. We secretly hold hands under the table during most of dinner. Our families know about us, but the fans don't know yet. We want to tell them at the perfect time.

*about an hour later*

We finished dinner and headed to city walk. I haven't been here before, so I was really excited to go. We found this water fountain type thing, and Hayden was running through it. I sat on the side admiring him. Gosh I'm so lucky to have him. All of a sudden Hayden comes and tries to pull me in the water. I resist and run away. When I go back to the group Hayden comes back and apologizes. I went to give him a hug, but he picks me up and carries me into the water. At this point I know I have no hope, so I completely give up. I just stay there holding onto Hayden, and I watch everyone laugh. As Hayden puts me down, some water shoots up and makes a circle around us. Even though I didn't want to be in the fountain, this moment was perfect.

*30 minutes later*

After watching Hayden run through the fountains and trying to get me in the water, we have to say goodbye. I don't want to say goodbye to Hayden at all. I know we'll see each other tomorrow, but I start thinking about how our vacation is coming to and end. I hug Hayden as tight as I could. We say our goodbyes to everyone else and head back to the hotel. I lay in bed thinking about how perfect today was. I never want this vacation to end. I never want to leave Hayden.

Sorry for not updating in a few days, I got kinda lazy lol. Chapter twelve might be up today, but I'm not sure.
