When Two Worlds Collide

•Chapter Twenty Three•

(LAST CHAPTER)
HAYDEN'S POV
It's been a week and Annie is still not awake. Today's the day they plan to take Annie off life support. I wish they weren't about to do this. I wish Annie was awake. I wish she didn't feel the need to do this to herself. I wish I fought harder to be there for her.

*30 minutes later*

MJ-Hayden it's time to head to the hospital to say your goodbyes.
H-Ok...I'm coming.

The whole car ride was silent. I think everyone is still processing what's about the happen. I'm about to have all of my joy and happiness stripped from me.

*At the hospital*

We walk into the hospital in silence. My dad walks in first to say his goodbyes to Annie. I volunteer to go last. Once my dad comes out it's Mrs.Katie's, Mr.Billy's, and Hayley's turn. They all walk out with tears streaming down their faces. Now it's my turn. I take a deep breath and walk into the room.

H-Oh Annie...You made my life 100 times happier than it was before. Your smile made me smile, your laugh made me laugh, your love made me love. You were such a blessing to my life. I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. You don't deserve this at all. I love you Annie, and I don't know how I'll cope without you. You will always be my world whether or not you're here. I will never find another girl like you. I'm going to miss you more than ever. I'm so happy our two worlds collided.

I kiss her forehead with tears streaming down my face like a waterfall. I start walking to the door, but I hear a very faint sound.

A-Hayden?
H-ANNIE!!!
