ANNIE'S POV
Then a text message pops up on my screen. It's just Hayden. I ignore it and go to sleep.

*The next day*

I wake up with a billion notifications. I ignore them, and I just play games on my phone. My parents call me for breakfast, but I just stay in my room all morning. Then I hear a knock on my door.

MK-Annie are you okay in there? You've been in your room all morning.
A-...
MK-Hello Annie? I know you aren't sleeping.
A-...
MK-That's it! I'm coming in.

My mom tries to open the door, but she realizes it's locked.

MK-Annie! Unlock the door now!
A-...
MK-Fine! I'll leave you alone for now, but I'm coming back later.

My mom walks downstairs, and I can hear her conversation with everyone.

MK-She locked the door and won't speak. I know she's in there though.
MB-This isn't like her at all. Whenever she has a problem, she always tells us right away. She doesn't hide in her room.
H-I've been trying to text and call her all day too. She won't answer and just leaves me on read.
MK-There has to be some way we could talk to her, or at least fix this mess.

All of a sudden I hear Hayden storm out the front door.

HAYDEN'S POV

I can't deal with Annie like this. I need to contact Kenzie. No one knows what Annie could be doing in that room.

(During the phone call)

H-What the heck is wrong with you Mackenzie???!!
K-Nothing babe! What did I even do?
H-Don't call me babe and don't play dumb Mackenzie! I saw what you posted on those accounts. I don't understand you! Why would you do this?!
K-I did this so we can be together! Now Annie's going to disappear and she will be out of our way. It's just you and me!
H-You're a psychopath! I would rather die than be with you. Now Annie broke up with me and she locked herself in her room! She won't talk to anyone. I swear if she does anything in that room, you will pay Mackenzie Ziegler.
K-Oh she's just being a baby! Don't worry about her anymore.
H-I will worry about her until I die no matter what happens! I lost Annie, now you're losing me. Goodbye Kenzie. I hope you're happy now.
K-But wait Hay-

I ended the call before she could say anything else, and I blocked her number. I walk around the neighborhood to let off some steam. When I come back everyone is freaking out.

H-What's happening??!!
MJ-We just heard a loud bang coming from Annie's room. It sounded like she collapsed.
H-WHAT??! No this can't be happening!!!!!

I sprint up the stairs to Annie's door. Mr.Billy is struggling to unlock the door.

MB-I can't get the door open!

H-Please Annie. Tell me you're okay.

All of a sudden, police, firefighters, and paramedics come to the house. They rush up to where Mr.Billy and I are. They manage to get the door open, and we see Annie laying on her bathroom floor with an empty pill bottle in her hand.

H-PLEASE ANNIE NO!!! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME! PLEASE WAKE UP!

Then one of the police drag me away, and Annie is loaded onto the ambulance and rushed to the hospital. This can't be happening...
