Chapter 7

(Alison ⬆️) (swipe for song)

Jacqueline's POV:

I woke up to see Venus staring at nothing.
"What are you staring at?" I asked him.
Venus blinked and looked around frantically. He must of spaced out or something.
"Oh.. Umm.. I was just staring at where Echo would sleep. It's weird without her. I mean I didn't like her here but she was part of our group.. I guess you could call her family," he exclaimed.
"I don't consider her family. I always hated her," Emerald butted in.
I guess she was awake and we didn't notice
"But still," Venus tried to reason.
"But still my ass. She was annoying and hasn't done anything that could possibly be of use to us!" Emerald continued.
"I guess you're right Emerald," Ally said in a tired tone.
I guess she had just woken up along with Emerald.
"I'm going to go look outside.. I thought I heard something out there," Venus said.
"Have fun getting killed," Collins said in a joking tone.
Venus chuckled and walked out. I looked around the room. There was an awkward silence.
"So," I decided to break the silence, "How did everyone sleep?"
"Decent. I had a small nightmare. Thankfully it wasn't a night terror," Emerald said normally.
"Good," Collins replied quietly.
"Not bad but not good," Ally said tiredly.
"I guess you all slept kind of good?" I said.
"I guess," Collins said blankly.

Venus's POV:

I was walking around aimlessly. I had thought that I had heard something but I guess not...
I realized that we needed food. I walked over to the food place or at least it looked like a place that had food. Our inn had whiskey and such but really nothing to eat. I looked through the dirty window. I didn't see anyone in there so I guessed that it was safe. I walked in and saw that some shelfs had food and others didn't. I looked around for somethings that everyone would eat. Most of us where picky eaters but we could expand our palettes. I reached out for a can of spam. A small snake slithered on to my arm. It didn't frighten me. I really like snakes and plus, it was small and harmless.
"Hey small guy," I said calmly.
It paused and stuck it's little tongue out at me. I love snakes. I don't care what type of snake it is. I just love all types of snakes.
After I finished staring at the snake I decided to bring it home with me. It shouldn't bother anyone.
I grabbed what I could carry and started walking back. The walk wasn't that long.

Ally's POV:
"So do you think Venus will be back anytime soon?" I exclaimed.
"Maybe, I don't know." Emmy pointed at the roof for no reason while laying down on the bed.
"Maybe he died?" Jacqueline suggested then the world came silent and bursted out with laughter.
"Venus could walk between 2 people firing at him and still not get hurt, I swear." Emerald rolled her eyes.
"Hey guys I'm back" Venus smiled I saw he had a snake on his arm
Jacqueline and I screamed Collins was like "what the fuck"
And emerald got up grabbed the snake from Venus' arm and chucked it out the window.
Venus got upset I was laughing to hard to speak and so where Jac and Collins.
"Fuck snakes." Emerald pointed at Venus
"Fuck you.." Venus mumbled.
"Okay," jac started, "we need supplies"
Venus put the cans of food down.
"Okay who will go?" Emerald asked.
"I call Venus, and Emmy" Collins raised his hand.
Jac and I raised our hand.
"Okay we will." Venus shrugged.

Venus' POV (again)
We went downstairs and I helped Emerald down the stairs by taking her hand. I acted like a gentleman cause I had the hugest fucking crush on her. I swear I would kill anyone to have a girl like her.
she giggled a little.
"Emmy?" I asked.
"Yea V?" She responded.
"Where did your gas mask go?" I asked.
"It's in Collins' bag" she answered.
"Oh.." I sighed.
"Why?" She tilted her head a little to the left.
"No reason you're just not wearing it." I shrugged.
We went outside of the inn and started to walk around for a bit looking in store windows.
"Hey!" I called out to Emerald who was looking in a small store, "I think I found something!"
Emmy looked in the store and saw more food and a couple of blankets.
"Great!" She pulled on the door, it was locked.
"Damnit..." I sighed, "watch out Emmy."
She moved out of the way as I took a large stick that was on the ground and smashed the glass on the door.
Emerald crawled in and I went in after her.
She grabbed a couple of blankets while I grabbed food.
"Hey, Venus!" She whispered, "you hear that?"
I got down a bit as she crouched down behind the counter, and I went towards her.
"What is it?" That's when I heard a couple of men talking.
"Let's get out of here." I exclaimed.
"Wait!" She pointed to the outside
That's where both the men where.
They had big guns, they where also ripped with muscle I could never take them on, I'm only almost 15 for god sake.
We waited for a while for them to pass
Emerald started to get cold so I gave her my sweater it was really big on her but she was so cute in it.
They finally went on their way and didn't notice us.
We ran for it going under the broken glass but me being so fucking tall my head got scraped on the broken glass.
It bled so much.
Emerald grabbed my hand and I held my cut with the bottom of my shirt. We found the bar that was abandoned.
We went inside and emerald got some alcohol and a rag.
She poured some of the alcohol on the rag and pushed it against the cut.
It burned like fucking hell.
"OUCH fuck!" I yelled,
"Stop squirming!" She whispered loudly.
"Well sorry it hurts!" I sighed
She sat on top of my legs and pressed the rag on my cut
I was to distracted by her perfect body to feel the pain. She had curves in the right places and a perfect face.
She was so beautiful.
"Stop staring at my boobs you ass." She said.
"W-what?!" I blushed a bright red.
She laughed a little then took the rag off of my head.
She went to the counter and put the rag in the sink as she washed her hands.
I went up behind her and grabbed her sides, she jumped a bit and turned around.
"H-Hey?" She blushed a bit.
I realized what I was doing and jumped back and accidentally ran into the liquor wall. Some of the alcohol fell Emerald pushed me out of the way and she fell on me.
"Watch out next time..." she was still blushing like crazy. I thought it was cute.
She got up and so did I.
I slithered my hands around her waist and she blushed like crazy again.
I smirked.
"You're so goddamn cute." I pecked at her lips.
Once I did that she grabbed my neck and pulled me down we kissed for minutes before finally backing away for a breath.
We didn't mean for it to lead as far as it did, we hoped the others never found out. Mostly Collins if he knew that Emerald and I had some "fun" time he would murder me right then and there.
this was an accident...
Right?
