Chapter 8

Alison's POV:

We where starting to get worried Emerald and Venus hadn't been back and it's been hours.
Then, we heard a knock on the door Collins listened behind the door.
"Open up shit head it's us..." emeralds powerful voice was full of anger like always.
Collins opened the door.
"You guys okay?" Collins hugged Emerald.
"Woah what happen?" I saw the gash on Venus' head.
"Yeah why where you gone for so long?" Jacqueline asked.
"There where two guys that had big guns and where built, they didn't see us lucky, but while trying to get out I hit my head on a broken piece of glass." Venus explained, "but Emerald fixed me up." He smiled.
"So Emmy does have a soft side." Jacqueline smirked then laughed.
"Shut up." Emerald looked away.
"Well we need to start heading out," Collins had suggested, "we really can't stay in one place, mostly if there are others creeping around."
"Agreed." Alison had nodded.
We grabbed some stuff and put it in Venus' back pack.
We started to cautiously walk outside, Venus and Collins where first making sure non of us get hurt.
They where big tall guys for two 15 year old guys. Collins was the eldest guy.
I on the other hand was the eldest girl
But in all I'm the oldest
Emerald and Venus had just turned 15.
I had turned 16 back in March.
But Collins and Jacqueline where still 15.
We had started walking out of the town when Emerald complained of feeling nauseous. We stopped to sit down for a while..

Emeralds POV:
I felt like I wanted to die, my stomach hurt, and I felt so sick.
I just breathed in an out for a couple of minutes then I told them
"Lets go on our way."
"Okay." Collins made sure I was ok, "are you sure you want to keep going?"
"I'm sure now let's get going, it's not safe out here." I glared at him.
"Okay.." he nodded
We walked for hours like always. We had come to something really strange..
"What's that?" Venus tilted his head.
It was a small girl lying on the ground.
We ran over to her. I had checked her pulse she was still alive.
"Venus get me water." I had said in a rush, I would hate to see a small innocent child die...
He gave me a bottle of water and I tilted the young girls head up and poured water into her mouth.
She had started to cough.
I patted her back a couple of times.
"You okay?" I asked the small girl.
"I-I think.." she stopped coughing, "where's my mommy and daddy?" She looked around..
"how old are you sweetheart?" Venus bent down a bit to get a better look at her.
She had a dark bluish dress on that was torn.. dark brown thick hair with a red bow...
"8.." she had answered.
"What's your name?" Jacqueline sat next to me.
"Bailey.. Bailey Thomason."
"Hello Bailey." I smiled.
"Can we bring her with us?" Alison asked.
"Yea.. sure.." Collins smiled. "She can be out little sister..." he ruffed her hair.
"Do you still have some of piper's old clothes?" I asked Venus.
"Yea I do." He nodded we all had a separate pair of clothes that we kept just in case they where all in Venus' back pack
I grabbed out a striped long sleeve shirt and some jeans.. they looked the same size as bailey..
"Here sweetie can you put these on?"
"Not in front of guys!!" She smiled and laughed
She was so innocent... that's what made me love her...
I giggled a bit..
"Okay boys you heard her u don't look." I put my hands on my hips, shifted my body to the left and smiled.
The turned away and me and bailey went behind Alison and Jac making sure the boys didn't look
I helped her into the clothes. The shirt was a little big but the jeans had fit perfectly...
Piper was a small girl.. I couldn't believe they had fit bailey...
"Done!" The boys turned around and bailey had laughed.
We decided to go back to the town to make sure bailey feels comfortable.
We got back and me and bailey had sat down on the bed I started doing her hair.
I put it back in a ponytail and put her big red bow in it.
I thought she was just too cute.
We decided to introduce ourselves.
"I'm Emerald.." I smiled
"Hi Em-em.." she had a hard time saying my name
"Just call me Emmy.." I giggled
"Emmy.." bailey smiled and hugged me..
"I'm Venus." Venus had waved.
"He's a planet." She had looked at me and pointed at Venus.
We all laughed.
"Hi Venus!" She smiled.
"I'm Ally."
"Hi ally!"
"I'm Jacqueline, but call me Jac."
"Hi Jac!"
"I'm Collins.." Collins had stuck out his tongue in a playful manner.
"Hehe.." bailey had laughed, "hi!"
So on and so fourth we had made memories with the little one.
Me and her had managed to get really close she was like my daughter.. or really close little sister..
I yawned and started to get really tired
So did bailey... and the rest of us.
"There where 3 beds in the room we had been staying in.
Collins slept with himself.
Me and Venus had slept with each other
Jac and ally had been sleeping with each other.

Venus' POV:
It was really late at night so I asked bailey a question.
"Okay bailey you get to choose which one of us you want to sleep with." I had kneeled down to face her.
"Emmy!" She smiled.
"Okay.. you'll sleep with me and Emmy." I patted her head.
Emerald was already asleep.. I didn't want to wake her so bailey crawled in the bed first and I was last.
I kissed emeralds head..
"Venus.." bailey had yawned..
"Yes?" I looked at her tired little eyes..
"Do you love Emmy?" She looked up at me..
"I do very much so."
"Hehe.." she closed her eyes..
Bailey was between me and emerald so I couldn't cuddle with Emmy but I didn't mind it really I still got to sleep in the same bed as her...
I had started to drift to sleep after making sure everyone else was asleep..
I had hoped to awake to a tired Emerald and Bailey...
I kept on having dreams and waking up in the middle of the night..
Emerald had woken up one of those times and checked if bailey was fine..
I told Emerald I would be back in a few she nodded and fell back asleep..
I went out to the bar and sat at the counter I had a small glass of whiskey and thought to myself
"Tomorrow would be a hell of a day..."
