When I finally reached my room I was filled with anger,so much anger.I wanted to punch every walls,smash every window and break every heart.

I was so consumed by anger I didn't realize that my nails had pierced my own skin,and that I was bleeding.I ran to my bathroom and cleaned up my hands

'Our Alpha,Our Mate'

"Shut up"I said to my wolf,Olive

'You'll learn to love him'

'He's a guy'I said.I knew I had a mate and I knew he was the next alpha and I knew he was my mate,but now that he has seen me.I know that there is no going back in this,and I have no choice but to be with him.

'If you reject him...'

"The pack will fall,I know the code,bitch"I snapped.

'Hey don't yell so loud,people can hear'She said

"I can yell if I want to"I muttered.I heard Olive whimper and I immediately felt bad

"I'm sorry"I said.

"I mean how would you feel if you had to mate with a fish"

'I do.The Fish is my mate and I will respect my mates decisions,he can't help who he is,and while I may prefer a mammal,I am perfectly fine with a fish.I will love the fish'She answered

"Why do you always make me feel like shit?"I said.

"He's a man,Olive"

"I know,but he can't help being a man.He's born with it.Flip the tables,If he was a girl and you were a girl,and he'd prefer men,how would you feel."

"I don't know"

But I did know,because that's what I had with Riley.

A heard three consist an knocks in my door and I knew before I opened it,who it was.When I opened it I was given a big hug

"You smell different"I said,taking in the scent.It reeked of blood and pine needles,the smell of my mate.

"That's the point when you become an elder"

"Fredrick the Elder"I said.Elders were now people who the Alpha asked for advice in certain problems,he'd be there for the new Alpha,my mate.Acid rushed through my veins and a shuddered.

"It has ring to it"He said.Fredrick pulled back and looked at me.

"Hazel,you've grown so much.I mean it was only just a couple of years ago...And now,you're fully grown and have a mate."he said

"Fredrick stop"I said.

"I've never had a daughter,but when and if I do,I hope she's a good person like you are"He said.I hugged him,my mentor,the closest thing I had as a father.After mine shunned me,he was there,and he took care of me.He healed my scars,as much as he could

He was my hero.

"You have a big heart,and I know that life has so much in store for you.You are young,and you have your whole life ahead of you.Enjoy it"He said.I hugged him again taking in his scent,His scent with the exception of Wilson,were the only scents that belonged to males I could deal with.
