Tyler's P.O.V.
Me and the boys have been talking about ideas on how I can do this. I had to figure out the right way. I used Georgia to because she knew Elizabeth best. When we went and saved the at the mall Elizabeth was in such a deep conversation with Erica she hadn't noticed Georgia came with us. Now I'm sitting here in the locker room before the game freaking out. I can't get in the zone. I better. I guess tomorrow night I will do it. I can't wait! I lean over to Kaner and whisper in his ear so no one else can hear. Well at least Elizabeth. We will tell all of them later when Elizabeth is not around. "Tomorrow night. We will talk about how we are going to do this too." He nodded his head. Coach said some words that I didn't pay attention to and every one filed out of the locker room. As I walked out I could hear the crowd getting louder. The love Chicago brings to their team. I step on the ice and we do warm up. We already went through all of the plays plenty if times and got them down. Elizabeth even helped coach and Tazer with that. Since Duncan Keith got traded, sadly, we have only one A on the ice. I bet it will go to her sometime soon. The buzzer sounds and I hurry in the locker room after coach, "Hey coach!" He turns around, "Yeah Stavros?" I smile. "Can I hurry and talk to you in your office?" He shook his head yeah and I followed him in. I stood because I didn't want my sweat to leak into the chairs and make them gross. Coach sits and I lock the door and close the blinds. "What do you need kid?" I smiled at him. "Could you have another jersey made for me by tomorrow? I need another Stavros one." He looks at me confused. "What for? Yours are just fine." I smile more. "It's not for me. Actually put an E. Stavros. Were gonna need it soon." He smiled then asked, "What are you up to kid?" I told him my plan and he loved it! He decided to help me out. We walk back out and Tazer walks out. "Hey Tyler! Come with me I need to talk to you about a player on the other team!" I nodded. That was code for, plans for you. There is so much code going on. Coach let us use his office. "You know when? And what you are doing?" I nodded then said, "Hey! Any idea on who you were gonna ask to be the second Assistant?" He smiled, "Yupp. Elizabeth?" I smiled. I told him what was going on and we talked to coach. He was happy with the captains decision. Coach talked to the equipment manager and he got started during first.
The game was pretty good. We lost 5-4. We were still happy because we played good. Coach was proud of our effort too. I hurried and got dressed and waited for Elizabeth right out side her door. As soon as it opened Georgia walked out. She closed the door and looked at me with a smile. She whispered, "She will me out in a minute." I nodded and waited. A couple of seconds later the door opens again and I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder. She screams then hits my back. I start laughing and she says, "Kaner! This is not funny! Put me down or I will kick you!" Everyone is on the floor laughing now. I put her down and before she notices I put my lips on her. She pulls away and looks like she is about to yell. She starts laughing once she notices it was me. "I thought it was Kaner kissing me! I was about to smack him!" Every one laughs again. I take her hand and we go home. We get some food then go to bed. We were both exhausted from the game.
I couldn't sleep last night. The thoughts of last night kept me up. It was still really early so I headed downstairs and started making breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, sausage wrapped in bacon, and hash browns with cheese. I put two plates of it on two trays. I put milk on mine and orange juice on Elizabeths. I balance both trays and take them upstairs. I open the door and Elizabeth is still asleep. I set the trays on the table and turn the tv on. I lightly shook her awake. She sat up and I carried her tray over to her. She smiled and I loved it. "Tyler! You made me breakfast in bed? Aww thank you sweety!" I smiled. "Anything for you! Now eat up!" She dug in. I sat next to her with my tray. We spent the day watching t.v. And eventually fell asleep.
Elizabeths P.O.V.
I woke up to a knock on the door. Tyler was awake now too. I got up and opened it. Kaner smiled and said, "Get in your dress! It's time to go!" I nodded. I hurried and changed. I didn't do my makeup. I put my hair in a messy bun that looked great with a bun. I tied in a red ribbon into a bow. It was cute. My dress was red and had black lace cutting into the side. Around my waist was a matching red ribbon. I walked out of the bathroom. Tyler wasn't in there. I decided to go downstairs. Tyler was sitting at the bottom. As soon as he heard my shoes he stood up and looked at me. "Y-you look beautiful." I smiled. He grabbed my hand and we walked out. I looked at his cute bum and giggled. He looked at me and I laughed more. "What is it?" I laughed and answered. "I was checking out your cute bum! It looks nice in that suit." He blushes then shakes his head. I hop in the drivers side then start the car. As soon as Tyler is set I take off.
Tyler was fidgeting with his hands the entire way to the arena. I even asked him if he was nervous about the game and he brushed it off. I pushed it to the back of my mind and walked in the arena with him. Paparazzi was there too. I hated when this happened. We still looked good and I know they would be talking about my dress. I loved it! We walked in and got ready.
The first period flew by so fast. By the time second started coach pulled me off to the side. "Yeah coach?" I asked. This was a first. He smiled and said, "They need a player for a new game in intermission. They let the fans vote and they chose you. You good with that?" I nodded then asked, "What do I do?" He smiled again and said, "They will tell you when you get out there." I nodded then joined the game. The second ended and I was happy with our score. We were up 3-0. We may have a shutout. I hurry and go to the locker room until I get called out. When I do I look around for Tyler to say bye but he wasn't anywhere. He is probably with coach again. I walk out and see three nets line up in a row with boards in front or them. There is a fan to. "Hi! So how do I do this?" The lady tells me that all I have to do is pick a net to see if I found the prize. The fan was going to help me. I got two shots. They brought me up to them and I picked my first one. I pulled the board back and there was nothing. I looked at the fan, "What one do you think it is?" He smiled and pointed to the one on the far right. I walked over and peeled the board back. When I opened it I saw Tyler on one knee with flowers. I looked at him and he skated out. The host girl of the game handed him a microphone and he handed me the flowers. Then into the microphone he said, "Elizabeth, I love you with all my heart. Your beautiful, funny, and you know how to handle those dopes in the locker room when they mess with you. I love everything about you and wouldn't change you for anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So tonight." He gets on one knee and pulls a box out of his pocket and opens it then goes on. "I am going to make sure that happens. Will you marry me?" I had tears in my eyes now and the crowd was going crazy, but responded with a.....
