Kaners P.O.V.
I'm sitting here at the breakfast table. I made every one breakfast for game day. I look over at my crutches and frown. I can't believe I won't be able to play for six weeks! And that's at the least! I send out a text to everyone hoping there up. A couple of seconds later Tyler and Elizabeth walk in. Tyler keeps his arms around her waist and she leans into him and makes them both a plate. Why have they been acting like this a lot? There getting married but they haven't even had... That's what it is! They did it! I guess the night before and not last night. I look at them and their staring at me. "What?" I ask them. Elizabeth shrugs and I smile. "I found out why you guys are acting the way you are." Elizabeth freezes and Tyler's face pales. I smirk now and Elizabeth starts to stutter, "Y-You H-have? H-how?" I smile and say. "You guys are getting married. I then thought well you guys haven't done it yet. But by the way your acting I can tell you did. Just yesterday night too!" Elizabeth smirks back and says, "Fine. Don't tell anyone!" I put my hands up in defeat and take another bite of food. Delicious. Soon every one else is down here. I look at Georgia. Her eyes are lightly red. Not enough to be too noticeable but enough for me to see it. I pay close attention to everything. I decide to ask her about it later. I finish up and go to wash my dishes but it's hard to carry them and the crutches. I stumble and almost fall. "Kaner, break! I'll do it!" I smile. "Thanks Tazer." I walk over in my crutches and peck his cheek. Everyone laughs and I look at them and say, "Your just jealous because it wasn't you!" Georgia smirks and says, "Pretty sure someone else has better!" I smirk at her and say, "Oh really?" She answered with a yeah. I stumble over on my crutches and peck her on the cheek. She blushes and I walk out. Every one is laughing at her. I head into my room and take a nap.
*One hour before the game*
I wake up and hurry and get dressed. I wobble down the stairs on my crutches and see Elizabeth waiting there. "Where is every one else?" I ask. She smiles and says, "They all got in Tazer SUV. They voted me to stay and help you. Come on." I walk out the door with her to her car. We get there in ten minutes. "Damn it! Paparazzi! Ugh! They don't know why I am out yet so they will be going crazy. Keep them off me Elizabeth?" She nods and helps me out. Keeping paparazzi out of my face. I hear one yell, "What did you do to break your leg?" I look at Elizabeth and she turns to the dude. She sighs. "He was being an idiot and running on ice skates across the locker room. He fell on it right enough to break it! Stupid idiot." Everyone laughs including me. She helps me through the door then we head in the locker room. She takes off into her and Georgia's locker room. Georgia walks out but she's not in uniform. We have half an hour til game time. "Why aren't you in uniform?" I ask her. She looks at me and says, "Coach says I should take a break." I nod and say, "Well you can sit with me!" She nods and I go to open the door for her but she opens it for me. I go to get the door to our booth and she says, "Let me! We need you back after six weeks and can't have you falling and breaking something again." I nod and take a seat. We have a phone in here so we can call concessions and they bring us our food. Georgia sits next to me and I hand her the menu. She tells me garlic fries and a diet. Why does she drink diet? I'll ask her after I order. I pick up the phone and push 88 so they know what player it is. "Yes Kaner? What can I get for you?" Ah. Jasmine. "Hey jasmine! I will take two garlic fries, two cheeseburgers, a churro, oh and I also will take chilly cheese fries! Also two sodas both diet!" I hear her chuckle and say, "You got an army up there your feeding Kaner?" I laugh and say, "No just me and Georgia! Now chop chop!" She laughs and the line goes dead. I look over at Georgia and notice her watching me. I smile and then there is a knock in the door. It opens and they bring us trays with the food on it. I start slowly eating since it is kinda hard to eat with your leg propped up and have the food on your lap. I look over at Georgia who's garlic fries are already gone and she is working on her Cheeseburger. I laugh and she looks at me. "What? You've seen me eat before!" She takes another bite and gets ketchup on her face. She goes to wipe it on her sleeve but I stop her. She looks at me and I take a napkin and wipe it off her face. I hadn't noticed but she is super cute! Kaner! She is your team mate and friend! But then again Tyler and Elizabeth are team mates. I think I may have a small crush on her. If only I knew why she had cried. I look at her and ask, "Why were you crying last night?" She looks at me shocked and says, "I wasn't crying. I just couldn't sleep." I look at her with a 'do you think I'm that stupid' look and say, "Georgia, I know the difference between no sleep and crying. I grew up with three sister and I'm a hockey player! We are on the go all the time. Why were you crying?" She sighs then rests her hands on her lap. She takes another deep breath then says, "I talked to Andrew last night. He says he may be getting drafted to the penguins and has found a new girl. He broke up with me." Oh my gosh. I feel so bad. I put my arm around her for comfort and pull her into me. "I'm so sorry." I whispered. She starts crying again. When she looks at me her makeup is smeared and her eyes really red. I take a napkin and fix her makeup. She stares up at me and whispers, "I have a hopeless crush on you Kaner." Whoa. I was not expecting that. I look at her and she is covering her mouth. I give a smile and say, "It's not hopeless." She looks confused and asks, "How is it not hopeless?" I take her hand and say, "I have a crush on you to!" She smiles and I out my arm around her shoulder. She lays with her head on my shoulder. I look at the food that is now gone. I see Elizabeth slam a guy. He gets up and they start yelling at each other. Fight time. He punches her but she comes back stronger and punches his in the gut then face. She tackles him to the ice and throws even more punches. Great. I look down at Georgia who is smiling. I take her hand and give it a squeeze. She looks at me. I stare into her beautiful blue eyes. They are so pretty. She stares into my eyes with curiosity. I lean down and kiss her on the lips. She stays stunned for a second then kisses back. I lick her lip for entrance and she opens her mouth. I slide my tongue in and we make out. I pull away and smile. She smiles back and cuddles into me again. I think for a minute. I love everything about Georgia. She is a great player and an awesome girl. She is funny, shy, sweet, and very talented in many many ways. I smile and say, "Georgia, will you be my girlfriend?" I fill her smile against my chest and say, "Of course Kaner!" I kiss the top of her head and we cuddle the rest of the game. When it's over my girlfriend helps me down to the locker room.
Elizabeths P.O.V.
I go into my locker room right after the game and shower. That fight I had was brutal. My goal was a beauty. We ended up loosing by one. But we are first in the league which is good! I wrap my towel around me and start changing. I put my dress on and try to zip it up but I can't. When I was going to wait for Georgia I heard the door open. Thank god! "Georgia! Zip up my dress please!" I hear her chuckle and she zips it up. Just then she wraps her arms around my waist. Wait. It isn't a her. "Tyler! What are you doing in here?" He laughs and I turn towards him. I hit his chest and he pecks my cheek. "You looked so relieved when I walked in. I can't believe you thought I was Georgia! She isn't even here." I am so confused now. "Thanks. Where did she go?" He smiles and says, "She took poor tired Kaner home." I nod. She didn't play tonight. Tyler grows serious and gently touches my eye. "Ow! Tyler please don't touch it." He winces and says, "It looks really bad Elizabeth. Here! Come with me." He grabs my bag and drops it off to be washed. Then he drags me into Maxs office. Great. Max sees us and gets a pained expression on his face. "Oh my god Elizabeth. Let me get you some ice!" I nod. He grabs some ice and wraps a paper towel around it. I gently place it on my eye. "Thanks." I mumble. I grab Tyler's hand and hold the ice to my face. Tyler gets the doors for me. When we get to my car Tyler holds his hand out. I smack it and he smirks. "You are holding the ice on your face and I am driving. Besides. I need you ready for tonight!" He wiggles his eyebrows as I put the keys in his hand then lightly push him. He laughs and I hop in the passenger seat. He takes off and I sit there deep in thought. So weird. Usually Georgia rides with us. Oh well. We get there and Tyler walks me in. He heads to our room and I get another bag of ice. I walk past the game room to get to my room and notice two people on the couch making out. I look real close and drop my bag of ice. "Why are you two making out? Georgia you have a boyfriend!" They look up at me and Georgia blushes then says, "He broke up with me last night. Me and Kaner were talking up there and I confessed I like him and he did the same. He asked me out after an amazing kiss. So I do have a boyfriend yes but it is the one I am kissing." I smile then start freaking out. "Oh my gosh! No way! You guys are so cute together! Ah!" They laugh at me and I pick up my bag of ice then run to mine and Tyler's room. He is sitting on the couch relaxing when I jump next to him and scare the crap out of him. I smile and say, "Guess what I just heard! You will NEVER believe it." He smiles and says, "What?" I smile back and say, "Well it is sad but good! Andrew broke up with Georgia last night." His jaw dropped. I nod my head and say, "I know! But here is the good part! Her and Kaner are dating now!" He gets just as excited as me. "How do you know this?" I laugh and say, "I was on my way back here when I caught them making out. She explained to me." He shakes his head then pulls out his phone. He's texting Andrew. I read over his shoulder and it says: (t is Tyler and a is Andrew)
T: you just lost someone who got someone ten times better dude.
A:what do you mean? I found a new girl a while ago I just didn't know how to tell her.
T: well. She is dating someone five thousand times more famous then you and he is known to almost everyone in the world.
A: who?
T: she is dating Kaner! She totally is over you.
A: well that sucks! I g2g.
T: bye
Hmm. I wonder if Andrew is upset now. Oh well! He broke up with her not the other way around. Tyler pulls the ice from my face and says, "Wow! That looks a lot better! The swelling is down. You just have a black eye now!" I laugh and kiss him. We had a repeat of the other night. Except better.
