The whole class just got back from Spanish strand class, and began to prepare for social studies. The 5 Spirits were very tired and bored, they never liked the Spanish class, and they didn't like social studies either.

"Alright," the teacher announced. "Get out your notes and worksheets on the Inca, Aztec, and Maya civilizations. You will be needing them in order to create your final project."

Many people in the class hadn't done their notes, and groaned. How they will explain to the teacher about it, they didn't know. Luckily, The 5 Spirits had done their homework, and did as they were told.

Ms. Monkoski was now passing around a template that looked like it could fold into a three-dimensional shape. When she was finished passing them out, she showed the class an example of the finished project. "The template will be folded like a pyramid," she explained. "Each side will be for each civilization, and one for a title. It must contain information on the civilizations from your worksheets and notes, as well as visuals and drawings, fully colored. This final product will be due next week Friday."

Sasha winced at the mention of visuals, because she was not an artist at all. I can definitely finish by next Friday, though, she thought. I can finish the information by this Friday, and I just have to do the visuals.

"Can this really be finished by next week Friday?" Alex asked, looking at his notes and worksheets. He looked stressed, as many people in the classroom did.

"I think we can," Karisa reassured her. "It doesn't seem too hard. And besides, we're not behind like them." She nodded her head towards a large group of students grabbing their textbooks, because they didn't finish their notes.

Alex nodded with agreement, and set to do his work. Cameron was juggling a few pancakes while examining his notes, planning what to write. Ryan seemed to be sorting information, and Sasha was almost done with writing information for one side.

"Alright, clean up!" Ms. Monkoski told the class. "We have five minutes of class left!"

As everyone rushed to pack their bags, put away textbooks, and put chairs up, the teacher began to project the homework onto the board. "For homework, you must work on the draft for your expository essay, page four hundred sixty-seven and four hundred sixty-eight in Go Math, and work on the Inca, Aztec, Maya pyramid."

"Can you come over to my house today?" Karisa asked Alex.

"I have nothing planned after school," Alex replied. "I think I can."

Karisa then walked to Sasha's desk and asked her the same question.

"My mother told me that she is going to be a bit late," she explained. "I'll come." She grinned widely, because Sasha was always excited to see Karisa's dog.

The dismissal bell rang. Sasha sighed and tried to shove her broken binder into her bag. Karisa went to the boys to ask them if they could come over.

Once The 5 Spirits were out of the classroom, and Karisa got all of their approval, they started towards Karisa's house.

With only Sasha stopping by the Wololololo to give it a greeting, they stepped off of school campus. Sasha sprinted to Karisa's house, with Ryan trying to catch up, shouting "WAIT!!". The other three walked at their own pace, Alex and Karisa on their phones, and Shortstacks walking around in the middle of the empty road.

Sasha arrived at Karisa's house, and entered the backyard to wait. Ryan came after, with the other three coming up. Karisa unlocked the front door, and opened the back door for the three to come into the yard.

They were then greeted by someone they all wanted to see...
