Sasha was looking over the map of where the stand was going to be set up, making notes wherever necessary. The car passed through the gate of the community of Kapilina Beach Homes.

When they parked, Sasha exited, stretching and yawning. It was about six-thirty in the morning, and she looked at the water of the lagoon moving back and forth.

She was in the same area as the farmers market, except, of course, the farmers market wasn't there. The only vendor was by TheFiveSpirits today.

Not long after, she saw a familiar face, the principal's. She smiled and waved.

"Thanks for coming out so early," Mrs. Reed greeted. "I brought everything you asked." She pointed to her black truck.

With the help of the principal and Sasha's parents, they were able to set up a tent, a few tables, chairs, and a speaker. These were the heavy and big things that needed to be set up first. Everything else would be brought later.

"Unfortunately, I can't stay for the whole thing," Reed started with a sad face. "I'm busy, but I'll stop by sometime." She headed back to her truck and drove away.

Sasha was actually glad the principal wouldn't stay. A few of her friends didn't like her, so she didn't want them to be distracted.

Four figures walked towards the tent, and Sasha grinned and waved energetically.

They were happy to see their friend, but they looked awful. They were so tired and exhausted, which Sasha anticipated since they hated getting up early. But they all showed up, and showed up on time for once.

Alex and Ryan brought all of the posters and signs, and Karisa and Shortstacks brought the food.

They all set up. In the tent, the table in the front had samples, and the others had food. Hanging on the tent were posters, menus, and a big sign that read: "5 for 1". Spread out away from the tent was a small seating area, and a speaker was set up near all of it. Karisa's and Shortstacks' parents came too. The kids were all at the tent, and the adults were waving signs around the road. A friend of Karisa's parents came too, and was near the speaker to play music. All of the people working were wearing a special shirt, "5 for 1", and it also had a stack of pancakes with a butt face on it.

The "5 for 1" title meant a stack of five pancakes for a dollar, a super cheap deal in Hawaii standards. There are five different types of pancakes: regular, buttermilk, buckwheat, fruit, and pumpkin. TheFiveSpirits will sell the pancakes in stacks of five. There are stacks of each type of pancake, as well as one of every type. So the stack choices are: regular, buttermilk, buckwheat, fruit, pumpkin, or all. And regardless of the pancake type, each stack is only a dollar. The stacks were wrapped up in a see-through bag decorated with printed hibiscus flowers, labeled with the type, and it comes with a little bottle of syrup.

But the menu doesn't stop there. Acai and banana smoothies are available, as well as Kona blend coffee for two dollars. In addition, nutrition bars can also be purchased. Finally, the same shirt that all of the staff are wearing is selling for ten dollars.

"Guys!" Alex caught his friends' attention. He faced his phone towards all of them. After taking the selfie, he shared it to a few social media platforms in order to spread the word of the pancake sale.

"I'm so excited!" Shortstacks exclaimed.

"This is going to be fun," Sasha agreed.

"And tasty!" Karisa joined in.

They were ready, and at seven in the morning, they had their first customer.

It was a resident of the community, a young man jogging with his Labrador Retriever. He saw the sign, and greeted the five.

"Uh, can I get a stack of buttermilk pancakes?" he asked, trying to get out his wallet while holding the leash.

Sasha nodded. "That'll be a dollar."

Cameron put the pancakes on the table, and Karisa held the dog's leash. She pet the lab and gave him a little treat.

The young man payed, took the pancakes and leash, and jogged home.

TheFiveSpirits high-fived each other, celebrating their success in the first customer.

Everything went great after that. TheFiveSpirits sold a thousand stacks of pancakes, and the rest was from the other products, so the grand profit total was $1,300. The principal was impressed with their results.

"You guys did very well," she grinned as she found out. "I'm so proud that Iroquois Point Elementary students are becoming successful in the community."

She gave the five two hundred dollars out of the total. Since the amount spent for the sale was a hundred, the actual profit was now half. Most of them seemed disappointed, and even Sasha, who reminded them that it was a school fundraiser and that they didn't protest earlier, seemed a bit shocked at their measly split.

They spent the rest of the day at Shortstacks' house, consuming pancakes and the leftover smoothies.

"What are we going to do with our hundred bucks?" Shortstacks asked. They were sitting in a circle, and the cash was in the center.

Everyone thought, and Karisa spoke up first. "How about-"
