chapter 2 *ೃ

Jacob

"Jacob wake up" my sister Caroline shakes me

I groan, not wanting to leave my bed

"come on sleepy head wake up!" she said pulling my blanket off of my body, I feel cold air hit my skin gave me goosebumps

"It's 5 am, too early" I said while trying to wake myself up

"go get ready" she replied simply

I'm done getting ready

by the way, I'm Jacob Sartorius and I have to stay with my grandma's at the small town. The last time I went there, it was our family reunion, but this time, me and Caroline will stay there for the whole summer. my grandpa is so cool thats why I wanted to visit there, let's just hope I survive

"no internet" my dad says
"WHAT" me and caroline said and look at each other, with our eyes widen

my mom sigh knowing it's gonna be hard for us

I texted Jenna "cant facetime you, call or text, no signal. xoxo"

with that I put my ear phone and listen to music. car ride was boring

"Jacob, Caroline. wake up kids"

I open my eyes seeing beautiful nature, it's so quiet.

I get my bags and sigh

no internet for 2 months. how do I live

I saw my grandma and grandpa. I smiled and hug them

"oh, jakey grew fast" my grandma said. I cringe

"grandma, it's jacob" I said smiling not trying to be rude

"hey, young Rolf" my grandpa said my smile fade away. stop calling me Rolf motha freaka

"I'm playing jacob" he added, I told you he's cool

I laugh with him

I walk to their house, also my house for awhile

not too small, not too big

wooden, old fashion

and then I saw my auntie grace, I remember her, my dads sister.

"auntie!" Caroline shout and hug her

so I hug her too

"where's Princess?" my mom asks
"she's with her bestfriend" she respond hugging my mom and my dad

"oh, there she is" she says

i turn around and see a girl, long black hair and tan color. shes my cousin, she looks like the mix of my auntie and uncle.

"um, hi!" she says

my mom and dad hugged he, so me and Caroline did the same

"look at Princess, she's all grown"  my dad said

the guy next to her is her dad, uncle Sam

we hugged him

"Princess, go bring them to their room" her mom said

she smiled and walk with us

"this is mine, this is yours Caroline and this is yours Jacob" she said while pointing at the wooden doors. I cant tell the difference

I went inside, it's clean. not as big as my bedroom back home, but it's okay

I fix my things, I only have 1 small fan

no internet, no signal

old tv at the living room

all I know is I'm gonna rest right now
