I woke up in an almost dark room at God knows what time. The first thing I noticed when I woke up was that I wasn't tied to anything, I was free. I was also thankful to know I was fully dressed and wearing everything I had been wearing earlier. I was sleeping on a comfy king sized bed and the room I was in was huge. There was a flat screen smart TV on the wall across of me with a fireplace underneath and luxurious couches. On my right side, there were huge windows and in the middle of the wall a double door which I could guess led to a balcony. There were two doors to my left which I suppose would be the bathroom and walk in closet. The room was huge.

I continued to be mesmerized by the beauty of the room I was in when previous memories from the coffee shop began to flood in. I suddenly jumped up and got off of the bed, taking a moment to take it all in.

Did Nate do this? Was I kidnapped? Probably. I mean it was so sudden and I hadn't even seen who did it I had no idea what to do, I was frightened at the moment. It took a while before I decided it had to be Nate and he had to have kidnapped me. I mean why else would you use chloroform on someone right? I'm sure it was chloroform or something of the kind. Either way I had been unconscious and he had done it intentionally.

I thought on it a while longer when I remembered the last words I had heard before passing out. Right then I knew it was Nate and I knew that he did it intentionally! That bastard! I had been cautious about him this whole time and the second I let my guard down this is what he does! At that thought, all the memories of elementary school start to slip in, when the cops come to tell you to beware of people offering you candy and how you shouldn't talk to strangers.

Ugh what am I doing! I need to get out of here.

I start towards the windows which I know aren't the kind that open, I'd have to break them to get out. I open the balcony doors and the cool air comes in, calming me down greatly. I take a deep breathe before walking out to take a look outside. The sky's were a deep orange color so I knew it was almost sunset. Wow I had been out for a while.

I look down when I realize I'm not on the ground floor. Probably the third from how high above the ground I am. There were no trees nearby or anything else I might have been able to use to get down. I did however see a black Tesla parked outside, confirming my earlier suspicions. I went back inside and closed the balcony doors behind me.

After a while of thinking what else I could do, I remembered my phone. I literally almost had a heart attack when I realized it wasn't in my pocket anymore or anywhere on the bed. Someone must have taken it from my pocket to prevent me from calling anyone- cough cough, like the cops. Or it could have fallen out of my pocket. Either way, it wasn't there. I started to look around the room and inside drawers looking for a phone. In one of the side drawers, I found a old flip phone but the battery was dead, and lucky me, there was no sim card in it. I sighed in annoyance as I dropped myself back on the bed.

I laid there hopelessly when I heard noises from outside my room, probably my kidnapper, Nate. I quickly laid on the bed covering myself under the blankets and acted like I was still asleep.

It was like one of those horror movies as I watched the door knob slowly turn and a dark shadow appeared. He entered the room and turned the lights on looking straight at me. I quickly closed my eyes trying to make him believe I was actually asleep. I heard him chuckle lightly as he continued to walk towards me.

"Elena, I know you're awake." I scoot away from him as he sits on the edge of the bed, too close for my liking. He groans as he says "You don't have to be afraid of me, I'm not going to hurt you Elena" Like hell I wasn't supposed to be scared of him! I was freaking out and I had the right to be. This psycho bitch kidnapped me on our first date! And last after what he just pulled. "I'm not scared of you" I lied. I tried my best not to let my fear show in my voice. I had no idea what kind of creepy psycho this guy would be, I had watched enough Dexter and Criminal Minds episodes to know people don't kidnap you for no reason. Especially not on the first date. You would normally expect a guy to lure you into his trap and get you to trust him before showing his true colors. That clearly wasn't the case with Nate.

"Elena you were out for five hours. You must be hungry, come on let's get you something to eat" He sounded genuinely worried. I tried to act like I wasn't surprised when he said five hours, "Oh and I wonder what could have caused that" I replied sarcastically. I was crying internally. Be nice Elena! He could kill you any second. He rolled his eyes looking a little frustrated. His annoyed look changed to that of anger in seconds and he sat there glaring at me. What the hell? Is he bipolar too now? At first I found it funny but then I remembered the reality of the situation, he was my kidnapper. I probably shouldn't be messing around with him, I reminded myself. Hell, for all I know, he could kill me right now for talking back to him.

I pulled the covers off unable to hide my anger as I sat up. I was angry for having to do something i didn't want to do and it was becoming harder to control myself. It was also kind of hard to be scared of Nate.

"Fine. What do you want" I sounded colder than I had intended to but I really didn't mind. He got up motioning me to follow him and we both exited the room, me a few steps behind him. I don't want to get too close to him. He led me down two sets of stairs all the way to the first floor. As we walked, i couldn't help but admire the beauty of this place.

The kitchen wasn't far from the bottom of the stairs and as we walked, I couldn't help but stare at the front door -which was very much visible from here- longingly. I was so close to make a run for it when Nate turned around, "What would you like to.." He began to ask when he noticed I wasn't paying attention. He followed my gaze to the front door, or what I think was the front door, and looked back at me. He growled lightly, almost threateningly "Don't even think about it Elena" he turned back around and walked into the kitchen when he continued, "You wouldn't get very far anyway, so just save us all the trouble."

Okay, so I was being held captive here. For whatever reason I was being kept here, I didn't care at this point. I looked at the door one last time before following him to the kitchen. I promise, I will find a way out. Soon.
