I spent that night plotting what I was going to do. I stayed up till 6 am deciding how and when I was going to get out of here. See the thing with me is, that I think through every aspect of a plan until it is perfect, and that was the reason I didn't get any sleep that night. My plan was perfect except one thing, it consisted of me waiting at least another day since I had stayed up all night and knew I had to be well rested to get out of here safely.

I woke up the next morning from loud banging against my door. I groaned, the loud noises immediately interrupting my beauty sleep. I checked my new phone to see that it was just barely 9 am, and groaned some more. After all my plotting, when I actually tried to sleep I couldn't, considering that was all i was thinking about all night. I would say I got about one and a half, maybe two hours of sleep?

The loud banging continued and then was followed by some yelling which I recognized as Matts voice. I slowly got up and out of bed, trying my best not to fall back down from the sudden dizziness and a hint of a headache I was suddenly feeling. As roughly as I possibly could, I opened the door and yelled "What?!" Matt looked a little surprised but didn't say anything. The smirk on his face said it all. I looked like crap. "What time did you go to sleep?" he asked, still smirking. "Don't worry about it. What do you want, its 9 in the morning let me sleep." I was so close to slamming the door on his face and going back to bed when he responded with "Nate has invited a few people over for breakfast, they'll be here in about half an hour and he wants you to get dressed and come join them." I groaned for the third time that morning, and this time I actually did slam the door on Matts face. What have I ever done to deserve this? I roll my eyes but stop when my headache returns. Great, this is going to be a long day.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I sat in bed contemplating what to do next. It was seven pm and I had already showered, packed a small bag with things I would need, and I had also already stolen my car keys and a map I had found in Nate's office after breakfast. I figured the map would help me escape his land if I got lost. Although I wasn't leaving for another few hours, I was feeling anxious and excited at the same time. After much thought, I decided to go down and have dinner before announcing that I was going to bed early tonight. And I did just that.

By eight I was in bed and already asleep. I had set an alarm on my phone for four am which would give me enough hours of sleep before I was ready to make my way out of here. Although my plan was perfect, it was also flawed. I had planned as best as I could to make sure I wouldn't get caught but the problem was that I didn't know the surrounding area of where we are. Thoughts like these are what kept me from falling asleep right I way.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

It was four thirty by the time I got out of bed. When my alarm first rang, I decided I didn't want to escape anymore and that sleep was more important right now. So I turned off my alarm and went back to sleep. Or at least I tried to. I spent about 20 minutes trying to go back to sleep but my nerves would not let it happen. So I finally sat up in bed and debated on what I should do. By the time it was four thirty, I decided I missed my parents and I missed Ethan and Emma and law school. So I got up, brushed my teeth, changed into some comfortable clothes, gathered my things, and headed downstairs. I tiptoed as quietly as I could down the stairs and to the kitchen where I grabbed a few snacks as quickly and quietly as I could. The hardest part was opening the garage door and closing it. Once that was done I turned on the garage light, looking for my baby. I memorized where she was and turned off the light so there wasn't any evidence of someone being here...other than my car and I missing of course. Using my phones light to guide me, I made my way to the car and unlocked it. I decided that I would open the garage gates last considering it would make too much noise so I opened the passenger seat doors and unload everything from my hands and into the passenger seat. Closing the door silently I once again use my phone light to guide myself to the door where the garage opener remote would be. This was the hard part.

Finding the remote, I press the button to open the gates, and fearing someone will hear it and wake up I began to run towards my car. I have often raced in my life but the speed at which I drove then, I don't think I have ever done that before. Without putting on my seatbelt or locking my doors, I reverse the car and speed out of the garage.

From the day I had went out with Lori, I kind of got an idea how to get to the highway. So using my best skills and since it was dark outside, I began to speed out of here. Rolling down my window, I throw the phone Nate had given me out- in case it has a tracker- and roll the windows back up. Being a pro at driving I buckle up my seat belt and turn on the radio, continuing to drive just as fast. Not long I reached empty roads which I recognized as the same one I was driving on the other day. I made sure to constantly check my rear view mirror to make sure I wasn't being followed. The excitement and adrenaline I felt only caused me to speed up more and blast my music.

About fifteen minutes into the drive, I slow down to 70 mph and my heart beat begins to relax. What was I thinking when I was debating on whether I should leave or not. Idiot. Of course I should.

I smile to myself when the realization of all this hits. At last, I am free.
