" Sereatha, we just passed our stop," Lucas said , well more like shouted over the music.
Poor Luke, I thought to myself. His voice was so raspy from trying shout at my sister for the last five minutes. Little did he know that she could have heard him even if he had been all but whispering, she was just choosing to ingnore him.
Tonight was supposed to be mine and Lukes date night. However, my absent minded parents forgot that they had also promised the car to my sister as well. So here we are stuck in the back of the mustang, subject to my sisters will.
The plans were to go to Olive Garden for a double date and then go to the drive in, but considering we just pasted both I would say we want be doing either of those things. My sisters eyes flicked to the mirror to meet mine. I knew the mischievous twinkle in her dark eyes. We are in for it.
" Babe, do you have any idea where we're going?" Luke whispered into my ear.
" Nope no earthly idea." He just shook his head.
Luke has always been one to follow the rules. A lot of people say hes to average for me. And I guess I can't say I blame them. He's around 5'11 with dark hair and dark eyes a small amount of stuble on his baby smooth cheeks is probably the only thing that really show his age. Compared to my sisters boyfriend's he's nothing extraordinary, but he's good to me and he makes me happy. No, we're definitely not in love, but he's definitely someone I can see myself settling with. Though, not for a very very long time.
" Where the hell are we?" I say loudly just noticing our surroundings. In the distance I make out a large warehouse that practically vibrating with music. The palce is pactically a junk yard, and the smell of trash is hell on my nose, that along with the smell of alcohol and puke. People are everywhere.
" A party dumbass," Sereatha says with a challenging lift of her brow. Shes right I am dumb, now the I get a good look at her. She's wearing a cute short black dress, a heavy amout of eyelines, and her very obvious hooker heals.... great. " Come on Brooke lets have some fun, for once. I was even nice enough to bring your boyfriend."
" Sereatha I have to be home by 11, and if we get caught I'm grounded." Luke mumbles from behind me. Jordan who's is behind my sister say nothing but gives us the stank eye, like were just ruining all the fun.
" Chill yourself kid, you'll be home before 11 and nobodys getting caught." And with a wink they were gone.
" Your sister is a real...." He trailed off.
"Yup, but I've learned to just make the best of it. Come on." I smiled and grabbed his hands in mine.
I've never see this many people in my small town before. The inside of the warehouse was filled to the busting point with teenagers dancing to loud music, that you can't hear over the bass. The smell of beer, puke, and sweat filled my nostrils and made bile rise to my throat. Judging by the green tint on Luke's face I'd say I'm not the only one who could smell it.
" Lets dance!" I shouted to him over the music.
He didn't reply just pulled me onto the dance floor. While I may not can dance, Luke is a pro. He even makes my two left feet look good. Our bodies move together harmoniously, and even though we are pressed against what feels like a million people it feels like there's no one else here but us. I may not know how to dance but I do know how to let his body guide mine into the fast erotic rythm of the people around me. However I can't let my self get lost to much in the music, because letting my wild side out in front of all these people may not be a bright idea.
