After a long shower, I get unpacked and head to the kitchen. Sereatha I presume is already asleep judging by the snores. Clovers in the kitchen humming to an unknown melody. In the off chance that my light footsteps might disturb her I make my way to the door. I really didn't want to interrupt and a walk sounded just as nice.
"I can show you around, if you want,"Clovers says softly. Everything about Clover is generally, well soft. Her light brown hair curls around her heart shaped face in ringlets, and her hazel eyes shine kindly. Her tall lanky body is a little more compact than one would expect, soft but not mushy in the least. Her cheeks are a beautiful rosy red. In general the total opposite of me, which I don't mind in the least bit.
"That would be great." I smile following her out the door.
"So, I guess its weird, you finding out your a wolf and everything?"Clover asks timidly.
"No, not really I kind of guessed when I turned into a wolf one day," i said laughing.
"Oh that must be nice I didn't know until I was brought here a year ago,"she says with a bright smile on her face, though her eyes seem a little dimmer now.
"Well, that had to be hard." I tilt my head studying her curiously. In a was kind of interesting hearing other peoples stories. I'd never met another werewolf after all.
"Not really, I kind of always knew something was off with me,"she says smiling," I just never knew it was That off."
I laugh at that. I totally get where she's coming from. Up until the first shift everything just seems off. Before I turned I was always moody, and was always itching to run. There for a while I was on the track team so it seemed totally normal that I would run as much as I did. However, now thinking back I was always a little faster than everyone else. Everything came natural to me.
"So when did you have your first shift?" I ask.
"Well, I haven't yet actually, "she say hanging her head a little in embarrassment.
"Oh." I really had no reply for that.
"Willow, says I'm probably just a late bloomer," She says perking up," besides who needs to be an alpha really."
"What do you mean?" I ask curiously.
"Well most wolves that mature early are normally higher ranking, than us late bloomer,"she states,"when did you turn?"
"I turned when I was 13."
"Wow that's early,"she say eyes widening. I just shrug a little uncomfortable with the subject. I've never been comfortable with attention.
"Alex!" Clover yells to somebody walking down the hall. A boy who looked to be around my age looks up and smiles at Clover. He points to himself and mouths a 'me?'
"Yes you stupid, " she says laughing at him.
"Hey," he says smiling at her and giving me a curious glance. Man, oh man, this boy. Okay so I'm just going to admitt this real quick, the boy is fine. His hair is a dark brown, and his eyes are a beautiful emerald green. He's not overly tall, though he's not short, and he's very nicely built with broad shoulders. He's tan though not dark, just right.
"Alex, this is my roommate Brooke,"Clover says smiling," Brooke this is the big dummy, Alex."
"Offensive, " he says giving her a sarcastic look. "Nice to meet you Brooke," he say putting his hand out. I grasp it lightly before pulling it away with a bit of a blush.
