" All 'students' will make your way to the auditorium in a half hour," a loud voice booms from a speaker," For all new students the auditorium is located in room 16B, do not be late."

Great, I think, so now I'm going to have to look for the auditorium for the next half hour. I better get started now.

Room 68C. Nope, definitely not down the hall.

Room 42A. It seems that dark halls are the thing around here.

Room 30E. There always all pretty gloomy, as well.

"Shut up, Andrea," a hard femine voice growls. I freeze for a second in recognition. Clover?

I wait to hear another voice, but its to low. Slowly without making a sound I creep forward. As I get closer I can only just make out another voice.

"You know I'm right," the other voice sneers. The voice is definitely another female. I can already tell that I've never met this person before.

"Ash cared about me. He just made some mistakes," Clovers voice is shaky now.

"You don't just kill someone by mistake, " the girl states again with a sneer to her voice. Kill someone? I scrunch my foread in confusion.

Its completely wrong to spy on people, but sometimes curiosity wins out over righteousness. This time my curiosity is burning. Why would Andrea think Ash had killed someone? The sound of heels tapping on hard wood snaps me out of my thoughts, and my mind goes into panic overload. I can not get caught spying on my friend, and defiantly not this stranger.

A billion thoughts run through my head as the person gets closer. There was a door, I think panicked, all I have to do is make it to it. But where is it? I think hard trying not to concentrate on the ever growing sound of footsteps.

Room 30E. I run keeping as quite as possible, and quickly throw myself into the room. Just in time, I sigh a breathe of relief. The rroms not really much. In fact its completely empty besides a few carboard boxes.

I wait another couple of minutes before slowly making my way out of the room. That was a very close call.

....................

Finally I make it to room 16B. There are plenty of people already there. I take stand with my back to the wall, trying to avoid the look of a few very ravenous looking males. Though I can't really blame them, considerong there are only 6 girls in the whole school. From what Clover tells me male werewolves whole lifes from puberty up are spent looking for a mate. Since there are so few female werewolves, most settle for humans.

A few minutes later the doors open and we all begin taking our seats. I spot Alex a few rows a way, and smile. Unfortunately his backs turned so he doesn't see it.

"Sorry it took me forever to get here," Clover says cheerfully taking a seat beside me. No traces of the anger in her voice is visible anymore.

Ms.Hathaway, the pricipal, clears her voice to get our attention. She stands at the front of the room looking as stern as usual. This is the first time I've seen her since my first day here.

"Silence," she states calmly. Her brown eyes are piercing as she gazes at the crowd. Everything about her screams authority.

" There are going to be a few changes around here. Training is going to become more rigorous, there will be no more slacking. Life outside these walls is a war, and a deadly one at that. You will be required to run twice a day. Your instructors will also be teaching you the history of our kind, considering your back grounds." She stops pausing for a breath before continuing.

"Also there will be courses set up that you will be required to complete. Tests will be more harsh. From this day on you will be assinged a unit and you will no longer be provided with food. You and your unite will hunt for all you get. A schedule will be handed out this afternoon,. Now thank you, and farwell. If you have any questions ask an instructor for I am very busy." And with that she disappeared.

The whispers began as soon as she left the room. I however didmt say anything. I was speechless once again. What was this boot camp?

.........................

That night I tossed and turned in bed, not sure what to think. It was good they were teaching us how to survie, but it also felt like we were joining the army. Also the conversation I overheard earlier was plahing on my mind as well.

Why would Ash kill someone, and who? I mean I had killed someone before, but that had been in self defense.

Did Alex know? Of course he had too, it was his brother.

Why was the school, treating us this way?

Was the werewolf world really as bad as they made it out to be?

A knock sounded at the door, making me pause.

"Brooke, can I come in?" Sereathas voice asked timidly. What could she want? I sighed.

"Come in." It had been ages since my sister and I had talked. It had all just been so crazy lately that we really didn't have time to. Plus we weren't to fond of each other right now either.

Nevertheless here she was. Her dark hair was tied in a bun, and her face looked worn. She didn't look at me as she took a seat at the edge of the bed.

"I'm worried," she said raising her dark eyes to meet mine.

"About what?" I asked genuinely confused now. That wasn't what I was expecting.

"About everything. This place especially, I mean Brooke what is this place?" Her eyes were searching mine now looking for an answer, because I had always been the one with all the answers. Sereatha was always the wild one with no answers, and no time to look for them.

"I don't know Sereatha, but I'm worried to," I said gazing out the small window beside me.

"I want to go home," she says abruptly, her face determined. At first I don't answer, thinking.

"Maybe, but lets give it a month before we give up, okay?" I ask meeting her gaze.

"Okay," she says standing," and Brooke just because we've been arguing doesn't mean I don't love you. Your my sister, and we need to stick together especially here of all places. "And just like that she leaves.

"I'm here for you too," I whisper in the darkness.
