(Kili)
We are nearing the end of our journey as we travel deeper and deeper into the woods. Closer and closer to the jewel of everlasting life. The stars overhead glimmer and shine. Legolas and Tvwien left us a little while ago to hunt, Bofur and I took our chance and fled while we could and in our minds we bid them farewell. Bofur and I were now alone. Alone, Alone. A glimmer in the distance danced in our eyes and the white jewel sang to us from its standpoint amongst the trees, I reached out whilst shielding my eyes from the shimmer. Bofur fell back.
"This one's yours lad." He called from behind a tree.
"Farewell..." I yell after him.
I walked up the way, as close as I dared to get.
Reached. Out. Touched. Lifted. Held up. A liquid that was just as bright as the gem splashed from it. I held it over my face and let the cool drink that smelt of citrus yet tasted of chocolate fall into my mouth.
Suddenly I felt incredibly alive, awake.

I was sleeping and suddenly a jolt ran through my body. I knew. He was alive.

(Thranduil)
With a jolt, I knew my power was spent. Kili's quest was complete. I could do no more. All my spawn were happy. I'd done all I could. But there was one more person I could make happy.
