"Look, if you want me to grab you some drinks, you're paying." You sighed as you grabbed your coat, the phone pressed firmly against your ear.

There was a light chuckle at the other line before a pause, "We've been friends for what, (y/n)? Five years and you're still asking if I'm going to pay you?"

"Yep. Remember that time at the sixth of May last year? You tricked me into paying for five cups of extra large espresso for you. And you didn't give me my money back at the same day." You stated whilst unlocking the front door, already dreading the soon to be long trip.

"That was one time!"

"Still counts Timmy boy." Opening the door, you shook your head before stepping out. The warm yet relatively cold air washed over your whole body.

"Fine. And don't forget to buy the-"

"The big pack of three in one coffee. I know. No need to say it again geez. I'll be there in half, if not. Before ten. Bye Timbo" you ended the call and quickly head towards your (f/c) bike.

By now, you've established some sort of a thing for reading his coffee addict order. He's always in need of those caffeine. It's a wonder, it's a blessing, and yet it's a curse at a same time. No matter what that boy done, it never failed to surprise you. This was the second time this week that he had called you in, remembering about the case that he's been working on for a few days now.

So you knew that the order must be fulfilled as soon as it can, because if not, he'll go into a deprived zombie state that you've grown to hate. He was one of the smartest people you've grown accustomed to. But his lack of caffeine control irked you immensely. Sooner or later that boy is going to catch some sort of disease like kidney failure or something.

Climbing on the bike, you revved it up and set course to the nearest convenient store. Helmet on your head and leather coat around your body.

You managed to locate the enormous pack of coffee within three seconds time before making your way towards it.

"Morning (y/n), here for the coffee I see..." Johnny, the cashier called out. A grin on his face.

"Morning Johny. And yeah, I'm here for the coffee. Like usual." you nodded as you grabbed two packs, or in this case two bags of coffee powder.

Johnny sighed as you did so, you've been coming here regularly for those coffee since forever. Making him wonder if you were a coffee addict or a barista at some café. He knew you weren't, but still. One shouldn't drink that much coffee.

"Hey (y/n)," he started as he scanned the bags of coffee.

Your head shot up, snapping out of your daydream. "Yeah?"

Continuing his work his eyes looked at your groceries. "Is it rude if I asked you why you're always buying these coffee?"

After a moment, you waved your hand. "No, not at all. I'm buying this for a friend. He's addicted to it." You shrugged placing a bar of chocolates from the counter.

"He? Your boyfriend?"

"No, bestfriend."

Johnny raised an eyebrow "Really now?"

You rolled your eyes and gave him your money, "Really."
