It was really awkward having these two, Xheen and Raine, under the same roof.

Natatakot nga ako na baka bigla na lang silang magsabunutan o magpatayan kapag umalis ako kahit saglit lang. Panay din ang palitan nila ng masasamang titig mula pa kanina.

I heard Xheen sighing. She closed the book she was reading and stood up, took a few glances at Raine without being noticed. Binuksan niya ang pinto at lumabas muna. Saan naman 'yun pupunta?

I didn't expect that this is really happening. This was all Crest Trejo's fault. Tapos dinagdagan pa ng mga sobrang masasakit na salita ni Xheen---for all I know it was just only for Lorraine's safety.

"Do you think I have to go back home?" Biglang sabi niya matapos lumabas ni Xheen.

I accidentally cut the tip of my finger. Shit. Agad kong pinatuluan ng tubig ang daliri ko sa sink.

"Oh tapos? Iiwan mo kami dito?" Nakangiwi kong tanong. Medyo malalim yata ang sugat ko.

"Xheenyy doesn't seem to like me at all... Akala ko totoo na mahalaga ako sa kanya---sa inyo." She looked at me with those gloomy eyes.

"H-hey... Don't give me that look!" Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit, like my life depends on it. "Mahalaga ka sa amin ni Xheen. I just can't explain it to you right now dahil sabi ni Xheen siya na lang ang magpapaliwanag sa 'yo." Raine was the sister I'd never have. Hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman ko kapag umalis siya.

She let out a sigh. She took a glance at the door, kung saan lumabas kanina si Xheen. Lumayo ako ng kaunti sa kanya.

"Was it that hard for you to give me those explanations I needed? You are enable to, Isay. Hindi naman kailangang si Xheenyy pa ang magsabi."

Napasimangot ako. Hindi ako sanay na ganito siya. Feeling ko hindi si Lorraine ang kasama ko.

"Joke ba 'yan?" I asked instead.

"Nasaktan ako sa sinabi niya kanina tapos tatanungin mo ako niyan?"

"Eh kasi seryoso ka!"

"Dapat ba hindi?" Tanong pa niya.

Napahilamos ako sa mukha ko. I grab some cut apples and put it inside her mouth just to shut her up.

"Gusto mo pa?" I asked.

"Hindi 'no! Hindi ko kasi favorite 'yan." I rolled my eyes upon her remark.

"Bahala k---" Parehas kaming natigilan at napatingin sa may pintuan.

The door knob twitched and the door swung open. Two men wearing high caliber of fire arms just appeared right in front of us.

It's not as if were scared about what we are seeing right now.

"Transferees?" Asked the man on the left.

"Yeah." I grabbed some apples and stuffed my mouth.

"We were summoned to bring the three of you there. Nasaan ang isa sa inyo?"

"Hindi namin alam. Basta na lang siya lumabas. May disciplinary action kayo para du'n 'di ba?" Siniko ko si Raine. She's being childish again.

"Definitely. But that's effective only for our students who already started to attend their classes." Napangisi ako.
