I tucked my button down into my jeans getting ready for work. "Um sis. I thought you were going to take the night off." Ash said from the door of my bedroom. "I would have but Kelly had her baby on Sunday and refuses to come in because she has to stay home with the baby." I told him. "And what are you going to do when your baby is born?" He asked. "Take the time off. And if he doesn't like it, I'll quit. Because he's supposed to be giving the pregnant women maternity leave just like every other job in this town." I said.

"If it were the woman's husband that got her pregnant." He said. "What do you mean by that?" I asked. "Rumors been floating around town that he rapes the girls and inpregnants them even if their married." He said. "Then you'd be super close to that." I said before sticking my feet in my boots. "Chey. I don't think you should be working for that man." Ash told me.

"Ok. So you and your buddies can come by later." I said. All night the boss was trying to get me to go to his office. I served several tables. Most of them guys I knew from high school. "So Cheyenne. Did you find the run away cowboy?" One asked. "He found me actually. Ash invited all of his buddies over and he happened to be one of them." I said setting drinks down. "Did you find out the gender?" Another asked.

"Boy." I said. "Girls were harder to raise." An older gentleman said as he passed. "Unless their tomboys." I said. "True to that!" I turned around seeing Jake. "Hey!" I said. "Well if it isn't tiny." He said. "Hey it wasn't my fault that day." I said as he took a seat. "What would you like to drink?"

"I'll go with my usual." He said. I wrote it down and went back to the bar. "Regular for Jake Willow." I said. "Cheyenne!" "I'd rather quit." Andrea said. "Same. But the diner isn't hiring pregnant women." I said. "Oh but they'd allow us to work there while pregnant." She said. "I know." I said as our boss came up.

"Cheyenne I need to see you in my office." Mr. Rice said. "Sorry sir, but I'm super busy." I said setting drinks on a tray. "Andrea cover for her." "Sorry sir I'm also busy." She said. I grabbed two Budweisers and set them on the tray. I walked clear to the table where Ash and his buddies were. "Two buds." I said setting them down. "Refill on anything?" I asked. Several lifted their glasses.

I walked around pouring drinks. "What did your boss want?" Ash asked. "To see me in his office. There's no way I'm going in there by myself." I said. "Keep denying him. Your already over your head." He said. "I know. You should talk sense into him like you did all of my exes." I told him. "Me. Going up against a man in his late forties." "He's drunk most of the time. Except when he wants to see one of his employees in his office." I told him.

I walked to one of my other tables where a guy was sitting by hisself. It was almost closing time. "How may I help you?" I asked. "Water please no alcohol in it." I looked up from my notepad. "And why aren't you with the rest of them?" I asked him. "They'd want me to drink. I'm not in the mood to. Be a if I have a drop I'd want more." He said.

"Cheyenne!" "Or how about I get off early and you go with me." I said. "I'll be waiting." He said. I went and clocked out before quickly leaving. He met me by the bouncer. "Night Ryan." I said walking out. "So what's the big deal with your boss?" He asked at my truck. "My boss think that I'm pregnant with his children." I said. "But your pregnant with my child aren't you?" He asked.

"Duh. There's no way I could be pregnant with his children. Every night I had to work I'd make sure I had a device that made sure he had to go to the hospital to have it removed." I told him. "Oh so you've got it in now?" He asked. "If I did he'd of already been at the hospital for it." I told him. "May I drive?" He asked.

"Try to start it." I said. I stood beside it as he got in and it started. He then led me around and opened the door before helping me in. He closed the door after I was settled in the passenger seat. Then got in the drivers seat. "To the house?" He asked. I nodded yawning. I fell asleep against the window.

She moved from the window to my shoulder. I reached over setting my hand on her belly. The baby kicked just a few seconds after I did. There's no way I'm going to run from her no matter what she tries to get rid of me.
