Ten weeks later

Jake and I were in Amarillo doing some last minute shopping for Ansley. "Baby. Do you need to rest?" Jake asked. "I'm fine." I said. "Hungry?" He asked. I giggled. "Jake I'm fine. I'll let you know if I need anything." I said. "I know baby. I'm just worried about you." He said. "I know." I said.

I then decided to check out. As the lady rang up the items I felt something like a contraction. As soon as we got to the truck I felt liquid running down my leg. "Jake." I said. "Yes?" He asked coming over. "I think it's time." I said. He looked at me curiously. "My freaking water broke." I said. He got me into the truck quicker than I could get in.

Good thing Ash agreed to sit out this season to help watch Wyatt and work with Stone. As soon as we got to the hospital the contractions were only a minute apart, curse Amarillo lunch traffic. Jake helped me inside and checked in. I was taken straight to a birthing room. This time it was a different doctor delivering the baby.

He asked for the relationship between Jake and I this time I said boyfriend and not the father. "Five centimeters. Halfway dilated." The doctor said. Then left. I walked around the room and sat on an exercise ball in the room. After thirty minutes of exercise and sitting with my legs on either side of the exercise ball I could feel the head.

"That's still not a good feeling." I said. "How close?" Jake asked. "It feels like the head is trying to come." I said. A nurse came in. "Alright let's check." She said. I laid down on the bed. "Oh. One second." She ran out of the room. "Jake?" "I'm right here baby." He said taking my hand. "What she said did not sound right." I said.

"Would you mind if I checked?" He asked. I shook my head another contraction ripping through my body. "Baby. Don't freak but the head is halfway out." He said. I gave a small push. "Don't baby. The doctor should be here any minute. He shouldn't of even left." He said. I scooted back to sit up. "I can't wait for that freaking doctor." I gritted.

"Cheyenne. Every time you move the baby is coming out more." Jake said. "Good. The sooner it's out the sooner I can kill that cowboy." I said. "Cheyenne." He warned. Every second the doctor wasn't coming was one I was closer to giving birth myself. Jake finally went to see if he could get a doctor.

The same doctor that delivered Wyatt came in. "Hello. I'm sorry about the other doctor. Yikes. Let's get this baby out as quickly as possible." He said after seeing how far the baby was to coming out. After pushing multiple times Ansley Marie was born. Two nurses were making sure that she had oxygen and was breathing before I could see her.

"You did good baby." Jake said. I laid back. They soon brought her over to me. I held her to me. She was smaller than Wyatt. No wonder it was easier to give birth to her. That and this being the second time of me giving birth. "Congratulations baby." Jake said. He kissed my forehead. "She's healthy and strong." The doctor said.

As soon as we were aloud to be released we were out and going home. An October baby and an April baby. Once home Jake grabbed the carrier. Ash was still here watching Wyatt. I also noticed my parents' car parked next to his truck. Ansley was fast asleep in the carrier. I walked right in on mom and Ash in a heated argument. Yelling. "Jake please keep her outside for a second." I said. He understood what I was about to do.

I went back into the house and whistled loudly. I felt arms around my leg. I looked down seeing Wyatt. His face tear stained. "What in the hell is going on? I leave my boy with his uncle and my disowned mother shows up and starts an argument with him. Explain before my daughter comes in." I said sternly. "You are unfit to be a mother." My mother said.

"I'm a better mother than you were. You don't understand what it means to be a single mother that relies on her brother and loves her boyfriend to come home every single day. I've had to put up with their father who is in prison for what he did to me. You don't understand what it was like to watch my future change faster than you can blink. Yes I wish you never left Ash and I but seeing how your acting now. I wish you would have stayed out of my life." I was ticked. Wyatt was squeezing my leg.

I felt like breaking in two. I then picked Wyatt up. "Now if you'll excuse me. I've got a four year old and a newborn. So leave before the sheriff is called once more and I will have you arrested." I said through gritted teeth. She glared at me. "I am your mother you do not talk to me like that." She said. I quickly handed Wyatt to Ash before I flung the front door open and literally kicked her out.

Jake quickly brought Ansley. I slammed the door closed and broke. I was picked up. I sobbed. "It's alright baby. I've got you."
