The first half of your senior year will be stressful as college applications are sent out and grades must be maintained, but it will be followed by the tranquil calm after applications are sent out, midterm exams are completed, and all that is left is to wait for acceptances to (hopefully) come rolling in. During your senior year, you should:
1. Hit the ground running by having your standard application filled out and a few essays written and turned in to your counselor by the end of the first week back to school
2. Maintain those grades, if only for one more semester. They still count! During your second semester, ensure that they simply follow the same trend as your other years in high school.
3. Apply early action to every college offering this option (it gives you an advantage by showing enthusiasm and responsibility)
The rest is self-explanatory: Choose a college to attend, live out the rest of your senior year in peace knowing that it's all over and done, celebrate. :)
