While it only makes up four years of our lives, high school feels like a pretty important time-- and it is. The next four years of your life, assuming you are an incoming freshman, will determine things such as potential college choices, career interests, and will influence your development as a person. While high school doesn't determine your fate or future success (there are many celebrities who dropped out of high school or didn't attend college), it can still be a catalyst pushing you towards a brighter future and keeping you on track in life. This guide is here to help you realize this and get the most you can out of high school.
Of course, there are the basic tips that any website or article would give you, such as to "Study hard" or "Pay attention in class"--and you should definitely do these things!-- But I hope I can provide a more in-depth summary of high school, the things you should know as you enter it, and how to handle the transition from barely-a-teen to young adult which you are about to go through.
