"Who's Anti?" You asked really curious about what was about to be said.
"It's a long story." Sean scratched the back of his head, nervously. Looking down he smirked a little. He was thinking about something serious. His soft looking hair fell slightly in his face, and he soon enough ran his fingers gently through his hair, pulling it out of this face. He was anxious and worried, you could tell.
"I'm all for long stories. It gives me more time to spend with a new neighbor, welcome you a little more, you know?" You smiled a calm, welcoming smile. You tried to make it feel like a safe zone. Then you continued, using your softest voice and putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Well I'm not going to pressure you into anything, I'm not that type of person. But know that if it troubles you in the slightest, it's probably better to just let it out." His muscles relaxed. You could see that his mind was ticking and thinking about what to do. You hated to think about it, but you though it was kinda cute seeing him think about it.
"I.. I really can't let anyone know about him." His voice was slightly shaken, worried, and scared. You noticed that his hand was shaking from him tapping his thumb against his leg repeatedly, as if it was a nervous tick.
You giggled slight at the realization that you were good with people, even though you despised every human being. After all that has happened to you, you still had the natural instinct. You then remembered about the cereal that you had spilt on the counter, then turned to clean it.
"Well hey, like I said, it's fine if you don't tell me. I'm just giving you a chance to let it out. Besides who am I going to tell? I've got no friends or family left. I'm a lone wolf and always will be." Speaking those words you felt your chest sink into a bottomless pit. You could feel your smile fade, and your cheerful face grew tired and weak. You were glad you were turned around and not facing Sean while you got lost in thought and slight emotion. You hurried up, gathering all the little breakfast bits, and put them in the trash can next to the counter.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Sean's voice lowered and became gloomy. You took a deep breath and restrengthened your smile. The thoughts still lingered but you couldn't show him that the loneliness gets to you sometimes. You turned back to him, cheerful and all.
"Nah, don't be." You paused for a moment noticing the genuine care about your internal well being he had. "Why don't I make you a deal?" You wanted to know who this Anti was and it seemed the conversation got off topic. Good thing deals always helped you out.
"How about, I'll tell you what happened to me back there, then after you tell me who Anti is. Sound good?" He seemed to become a bit more joyful knowing you'd tell him the truth about your panicking attack. You were getting the answer to your question too, so it was a good deal.
"Okay deal. But you first, like you said." You smiled then sighed at his response. The deal was made and now you were getting the answers that you wanted. Anti seemed to be the name that was being spoken as you passed out. His voice and his eyes, they had a dark and dreamy sence to them that made your chest flutter. Thinking about him gave you goosebumps and sent chills down your spine, but at the same time made your body feel warm. You wanted to see him again.
"Okay then I'll start." You took a breath as your smiled faded. You began remembering the past and and felt you hands begin to shake. You shook your head and tried not to think about the horrible things.
"I guess the easiest way to put it was I was having a panick attack." You chuckled slightly at the simplicity of it all, rubbed the back of your head nervously then continued.
"Just, I was remembering some of the things that used to happen to me with my family years ago when I still lived with him. After that it was like they replayed them selves and then.." You paused. 'I can't tell him about the voices' you thought, contemplating whether other not to tell him. 'He'll think I'm crazy. I'll just not go any father in what happened. It wasn't that big of a deal anyways'. You hadn't realized but you had zoned out lost in your thoughts and we're staring at the floor, not blinking at all.
"You don't have to tell me. I can tell it bothers you alot." His voice was calm and reassuring. You snapped out of your zoning and smiled once again. Knowing you wouldn't have to say it all relieved you, and you took another breath.
"Thank you actually." He smiled at your response. You could tell that he was actually okay with you not saying it all.
"Oh! I'm so rude!" You exclaimed. He seemed a bit confused as you turn and headed straight to the cupboard with the preground coffee in it. You opened it, giving a loud squeak, then it did so again after grabbing them and closing it. You grabbed you coffee pot from the side of sink, where it had been set to dry, after washing it the night prior, and filling it up with water.
"How do you like your coffee? I'm going to assume black." You smiled and poor the water into the coffee maker, then put in a new filter. You looked at him with a slight bit of shock and smile on his face.
"Ya actually. How'd you know?" He said. You chuckled knowing you were right.
"Actually, it was easy to know. From your irish accent, I can assume your irish, and most irish people like black coffee. Not only that but your male, and typical men that drink coffee normally don't like there coffee as sweet as females do." You smiled feeling accomplished. It was always fun telling people the things you new about them before they tell you. You felt like you were bragging.
"There's more ways of knowing but those are the biggest clues I guess. Sometimes I notice things with out knowing it. I get all the information and jump to pretty accurate conclusions about things and I don't realize it until late after I say it." You wanted to make sure he knew you weren't stalking him, and make sure he was comfortable around you. You didn't want to freak out the new guy. You really hope you didn't.
"That's actually pretty sweet!" He seemed genuinely interested in it. His eyes lit up a bit and he smiled. You put the coffee in the new filter already and it was almost done brewing by now. You walked over to the fridge and grabbed your favorite coffee creamer from the fridge, set it on the counter, then got two coffee mugs. You poor the perfect amount of creamer in, then grabbed the freshly made coffee and poor it in the two mugs. The bitter smell of the hot coffee filled the room and relaxed you a bit. You grabbed one of the mugs and gave it to Sean, while you got a spoon and mixed yours.
"Thank you." He smiled when he took the cup. It was least you could do with a visitor.
"Oh course!" You stayed cheerful as you spoke then showed him to where the kitten table was. With out any friends, or family ever coming over, the table was pretty useless, and it was nice sitting there with someone. You then decided to get back on topic.
"It's the least I could do while keeping you here. Okay, I won't keep you here much longer since you still need to finish unpacking. So Anti?" You questioned him. You felt a slight bit like a detective, but you didn't want to lose the topic of the conversation again.
"Well first I need to say that I have a YouTube channel and my name there is Jacksepticeye. And the name Anti is a nick name from Antisepticeye." He started to tap his thumb on his cup. You realized it was a nervous tick.
"You need to be careful around him." He warned. His voice was very sturn and serious.
"I'm very surprised you not dead. And if your not careful, you might end up like some of my friends." You're smile fades knowing that his friends were dead because of Anti. Sean took a sip of his coffee, careful not to burn himself then he continued.
"He will pretend to let you in. He will pretend to be nice, then once he know every thing you enjoy, every weakness of yours, he will use it to break you. He'll beat you down until your sanity snaps, then if you don't kill yourself, he will kill you." His thumb started tapping faster and he took another drink. You took one as well. 'Is Anti really that bad?' You thought, trying to piece things together. He did choke you, but besides that he didn't hurt you.
"Okay. I'll be careful." You reassured him that everything was going to be alright.
"No matter what you do stay away from him. Don't even try to find him" After saying that he calmed down a bit more and relaxed.
"You don't need to worry. I won't go looking for him." You said. You had one hand under the table with your fingers crossed. You wanted to see him again and you weren't going to let him stop you.
