Chapter9: omg

Dan P.O.V

We sat on the couch, well Phil did. I sat on the ground in front of him, leaning against the front part of the couch between Phil's legs. We spent five whole minutes arguing because I insisted on sit on the ground. Phil didn't mind the position we were in, we'd done it so much that its become a hobby but he still insisted on me sitting on the couch.
We sat down and took turns playing some video games.
"I'm so going to win." I mutter in full concentration mode.
"Oh shut up." He says as I turn my body to my left making the character on the screen do the same.
"Dan! Quit moving" Phil giggles hitting me lightly with his hand.

-time laterrr-

"I told you I'd win!" I laugh, we were still in the same position as earlier.
"It's so easy to beat you! I won like 10 times!"
Phil sighs with fake annoyance and smacks my head from behind for the hundredth time in the past hour.
"PHILLLL!" I complain rubbing the back of my head.
"You deserve that for being a jerk." He mutters as he lays his chin on top of my head. I sigh and let myself relax. My face was burning red but I tried to ignore it. A few minutes of silence had pass by, it's wasn't awkward silence, it was never awkward when Phil was around. It was natural to have him this close, it was normal to sleep in the same bed with him, it was normal to BE with him.

Phil P.O.V

I closed my eyes and breath in Dans scent, he smelled of vanilla and slightly burnt hair. I smile to myself, it was so comfortable having him here, my arms hanging loosely from his neck. It probably meant nothing to him, just a friendly gesture...but then again maybe it meant much more to him. I think back to when I kissed him, he HAD kissed me back. Maybe it was out of instinct...or maybe he did have feelings for me. It doesn't hurt to try does it?
Of course it does you idiot! You might lose your only true friend.
Yea but we promised to always be true to each other, I can't just watch him go on loving someone without knowing if he once liked me.
"Dan?" I whispered, my voice shaking. I lift my chin off his head as he threw his head back resting it against the couch. He looked up at me but since he was in front of me it was like he was looking at me upside down.
"Yess?" He asks, his eyes focus on mine making me shiver slightly.
"I want to try something" I whisper bringing my face closer to his. It was a weird position but it didn't matter. I was millimeters away from his lips when his head tilted a bit. I quickly closed the space between our lips, we didn't do anything fancy, we just sat there our lips pressed together. Dans hand had found its way to my cheek brushing his fingertips over them. It was a sweet kiss, my body felt alive and I couldn't believe it, I was kissing Daniel Howell and he wasn't cringing away from me.

Dan P.OV

My fingertips lightly brushed his cheek, the position we were in was weird but I didn't care. I kept my lips pressed against his not wanting to let go. I didn't want this to be another one of my dreams, one where I wake up and I realize everything is fake.

Eventually we pull away gasping for air.
"What was that?" I gasp looking at the TV, blushing like mad.
"I'm sorry!" Phil says behind me. I turn around, still in the ground, and see him holding his face in his hands.
"Phil?" I whisper prying his hands off his face, "Phil look at me"
"Why?" He whispers looking at the ground. I stand up and bring his face up, his eyes aren't looking at me, those beautiful blue eyes.
"Phil, please, look at me" I whisper. He eventually looks up. His eyes are filled with worry and concern. I gently brush my fingertips over his cheekbone, he blushes making me smile softly.
"I-I di-" he stutters.
"It's about time Phil! I've been waiting four goddamn years for you to make the move." I grin at him, I feel my chest lift of all the negativity that's been going through me these past few days. I feel myself smile stupidly as I watch his face change into a surprise/shocked expression.

JESUS I FINALLY DID IT! I Made them do the things! Omg it's short, well it looks short and I'm so sorry but I mean I hope you like it cuz I stg I'm really awkward at writing kissing scenes. Let me now how I did? It would mean the world to me, that way I can know what to do in the future.
THERE'S STILL MORE TO COME AND OMF GETTING CLOSE TO THE STORY LINE!!
