KAYLAS POV
I walked out of the massive building. I was finally free. My last year of high school over. I made my way to my car. it stood out against the rest. Everyone had shiny small cars while I had a bulky dodge truck. It was fairly new, but it still towered over the rest. I checked my bags in the back, and made sure I had everything for the summer that was coming to me. I revved up the engine I popped in my homemade disk, with every Black Veil Brides song on it, and pulled out of the parking lot. I drove for about two hours when my surrounding became lush, and green, and due to early release, it was only one in the afternoon. It was about four P.M. when I pulled up to my Uncle's house off on a dirt road. The place was huge and over to the left of the house was a huge pond or lake or I don't know what the damn thing was, but it was big. And the house was about sixty yards away from underbrush in every direction. My uncle and his wife rushed out to help me with my bags. After hauling all my belongs up to my room we got to our hellos.
"It's so nice to see you again dear." my aunt pinched my cheeks.
"It sure is, and it's nice what you're doing. You know spending your summer here." I looked at the ground.
"Well I did always love the outdoors." I can't believe they bought theses lies. The only reason I'm here is because I can be alone all fucking day. My uncle works, and so does my aunt, so everything was quiet during the day.
"Well you go on and get settled, dinner will be ready soon." She pulled her apron tighter.
"Acually can I just go straight to bed I had a ruff week, and I just wanna sleep it off." They shrugged. I started up the stairs, but stopped when my uncle called up to me.
"Oh and just so you know. My friend Jimmy's boy is coming to stay also. He is a few years older, but he won't be a bother to you will he?" I shook my head, and trudged to my new room. Yay another fucking person, but this one guy whose name I didn't even know wasn't taking away my chance at happiness. I quickly change into some sweats and a loose t-shirt. I pulled my hair up into a high bun. Thankfully my bed was right near and outlit so I plugged in my phone, and blared my favorite band, Black Veil Brides, into my ears. After a while I heard a car pull, most likely the other person I would have to share my summer with.
I awoke, and sunlight streamed through the curtains on my window. I fixed my hair, and pulled on my knitted uggs. I stalked down the hall, I was tempted to stop, and see who it was but ruled against it. I went into the kitchen, and made myself some coffee. I ate a granola bar, and sipped at my piping hot coffee. It burned my throat, but I didn't care. When I finished, I walked up stairs, and got a relaxing shower. when done I dressed in black skinny jeans, a white tang top, with a grey crop top that read #bitches, and I pulled on my mostly black high tops. I straightened my hair, and put on little makeup. I grabbed my phone and earbuds, and one pack of cigarettes and a lighter. I walked down the stairs in the kitchen sat a boy, his back turned to me. He was shirtless, and his hair was messy, going any which way it pleased. He looked familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I walked around him, and filled up a water bottle, with water from the sink. I sprinkled in some flavor powder, and shook it up. I turned around, and all I had to see were those blue eyes for me to be out of there. I ran down the steps and over to the pond thingy. I stopped to catch my breath. Then gathered my thoughts. HOLY SHIT THAT WAS ANDY BIERSACK! OH MY FUCKING GOD! I took a mental break, and looked back at the house. I still couldn't believe I would be spending my summer with Andy. Wait no Kayla, you promised yourself you would stay away from people, so guess what no hot band member for you.
"Damn it." I said aloud to myself. Well it don't matter, I shrugged it off. I sat on a swing that hung from and old oak tree. I blared my music, and swung slightly mentally flipping shut one myself. after a while it got really hot out, I walked into the house. Andy saw me and smiled.
"I'm guessing your a fan." He gestured to my phone.
"Oh ummmm yea sorry about that." I stammered, and quickly shut off my music. My checks flushed wildly.
"No really it's cool. I mean from what I was told I thought you were into that pop band One Direction." I stared at him.
"Uh no I hate them. I mean come on their songs have no damn meaning to them." He chuckled.
"I guess this won't be as bad as I thought it would be." He walked past me up the hall to his room. Once again I mentally flipped shit, then went up to change into more comfy attire. I kept the shirt but changes into cut off jean shorts, which were black with the batman sign, and my British flag flip flops. I came down, and Andy was sitting out front on the porch. I joined him.
"I don't think I got your name." He looked at me, I looked away and blushed.
"Oh right I'm Kayla." He put out his arms. I looked at him confused.
"I'm a hugger, so give me a hug." I had a little oh moment then hugged him. I went to move away, but he held me tight.
"I'm not done yet." I giggled, and held gave me a slight squeeze then let go.
"Now was that so bad?" He questioned.
"No I'm just not really used to hugging." I blushed, and looked away. He made me look at him. I realized he was no longer shirtless but had a ripped tang top on.
"Why is that I mean surely your boyfriend holds you?" My smile faded.
"I'm single." I stopped talking, not wanting to bring up my dating history. He looked at me shocked.
"Why? I mean look at you, you're drop dead gorgeous." I blushed, and shook my head. He slapped my arm.
"You are beautiful." Kissed my cheek, and got up, and headed into the house.
"It's time for lunch." He sang. Damn his voice was so sexy, and deep. When I for into the kitchen, Andy was hunched over the counter making food. I sat down, and played on my phone. I got a text from him.
'Hey babe listen I just wanna say you better watch out cause you might have left but I will find you and you'll get what's coming to you.' I gasped, and a tear escaped it slid down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away, but it was no use one after fell down to the table. The next thing I know, I'm pulled onto Andy's lap. He swayed slightly from side to side.
"Shhhhh everything will be okay." he assured me, and I believed him.
For now.
