"sometimes, all you gotta do is wait, keep faith, and let god do the work."
he sat infront of Monomi. as they were working on a drawing for Chiaki. he wasn't the best artist, nor Monomi but they wanted to work together to draw something for Chiaki. they wanted to make her happy, because.. she got cancer, and she had to be on the hospital most of here time for chemo. each day that pass, he could feel more and more anxious, he tried to stay strong, to keep hope like the rest and give Chiaki support. but, ge couldn't help it. he still felt bad. he didn't told it to anyone. well.... until today...
"Hajime? is everything wrong?" she asked him. "Yeah.. don't worry it's nothing..." he shrugged it off. he felt kinda weird to tell his teacher, but she frowned. "you don't seem well Hajime, do you want to take a break and talk about it?" she asked, putting the pencil she held on the side. he nodded, perhaps she could help him. she knew Chiaki so well. and perhaps she could cheer him up. "I feel worried and anxious..." he told the teacher.
"Is it Chiaki?" she asked, empathy on her eyes, he could see she was caring about him.
he nodded, she stood up and hug him. "I know how close you too are... that's fine to feel anxious and worried... we all are, after all it was rather surprising, but Chiaki is a strong girl, and will all the love and support we're giving to her she's even more stronger, please keep faith, she even got better on the past few weeks, so try to think about it okay?" she pat his head, smiling at him. he nodded, he could feel a little better. "thank you... I'll try my best! when you're saying it lilke that, I have a feeling she'll make it." he smiled at her too. he'll try even harder to supportt the other, he'll try to give her the best drawing and show her he's there and he cares.
"you're a very strong and optimistic person Monomi." he complimented her out of the blue.
"I simply learned it." she answered. "I've been in the dark, but... it made me stronger, it made me the person I am today." she added, smiling slightly. he hugged her back, his teacher was truly amazing. and he hoped he could be strong and optimistic for Chiaki too.
