Velocity (Tej Parker)

Prologue

Six months later, a full year after the big heist making them all millionaires. Teagan and Tej were in Venezuela having the romantic getaway they needed. She was dressed in a mint green bikini and a pair of jean shorts. Her hair was down in natural waves and flowed in the wind as she stood next to Tej who was taking a few thousand bank notes out of the ATM. Her arms were wrapped around his waist and her head rested on his bare shoulder. He pulls away and they start back to the Ferrari.

"Hey, Tej!" A Spanish man says catching our attention. "Look at you, rolling in a Ferrari, a beautiful woman at your side and pockets full of cash!" Tej smirks and pulls Teagan closer to him.

"Yeah, man." Another Spanish dude speaks up. "You used to be all Robin Hood, sharing all the money you got."

"You know what I'm telling you," The first Spanish man speaks up. "Money changed you!"

"You're right," Tej says. "Money has changed me. I realized that money doesn't grow on trees." The lovebirds make their way over to the Ferrari.

"It rains from the sky!" Teagan shouts and Tej presses a button. They rigged the ATM to spew out banknotes to all those near. Everyone screams and runs over to the falling money.

As they stand there, Tej's phone starts ringing and he answers it confused about the unknown number. His face grows from confusion to determination when he realizes who was on the other line and what he wanted them to do.

"We'll be there," Tej says and hangs up the phone. He turns to Teagan. "Dom needs us, it's important."

"Then what are we waiting for," Teagan says. "Let's ride."

Both hop into the car and Tej starts it up. Before they could leave though, he turns to her and sets a hand on the back of her head. He pulls her towards him and smashes their lips together. They move in perfect sync for a few seconds before pulling away.

"Now let's ride," he smiles and looks back at the road. Teagan smiles to herself before looking on ahead.

Tej presses on the gas and they were off to the nearest airport, to take the next flight all the way to London.
