Velocity (Tej Parker)

Chapter Two

That night, Teagan stood behind Tej and watched him type away at one of the computers. She watches and listens to the conversation that was happening on the ground below them.

"Hobbs," He shouts and Hobbs turns to the two. "They're sending in your punching bag."

"He's wired," Teagan adds on. "He's going to give a positive ID on Shaw before they move in."

They all listen intently for only one word, Shaw. Teagan hears the engine of a car start up and the voice of some British guy. Then Shaw's name is shouted a few times and digital confirmation pops up on the screen.

"I just got confirmation on Shaw," Tej says. "They're going in."

"Wait, wait, hold up..." Teagan says and runs over to a monitor beeping rapidly. She picks up the earpiece and starts to listen on what was happening. "Police scanners are saying alarms are going off at Interpol headquarters."

Brian mutters a few choice words and starts devising some sort of plan with Dom.

"Brian, take the team," Dom instructs.

"What about you?" Brian asks him.

"Hobbs and I will wait for Shaw," Dom explains. "Shaw leads to Letty."

Everyone starts to head towards an array of cars waiting for them. Gisele runs over to Teagan to try and stop her from doing anything rash. But Teagan just grabs a 9mm handgun before stepping into her car. She buckles up and puts the handgun under her thigh and a walkie talkie in the cup holder. They all make it onto the street and speed their way down to Interpol.

"Han, how far are we from Interpol?" Brian's voice rings through the walkie.

"Twelve blocks away," Han says.

"You guys, it's a ghost town over here," Tej's voice says. "Shaw must have pulled all the cops to him."

"All right, y'all, we're in this shit, so let's go get it," Roman says and Teagan smirks to herself. This was going to be fun.

They continue to weave their way through the streets avoiding other cars and people on their way.

"Interpol, straight ahead," Han says.

As they are rounding the turn, bullets hit their cars and everyone skids to a stop. Teagan unbuckles and grabs hold of her gun before taking a step out of the vehicle. She along with everyone else starts to volley gunshots at Shaw's men who were leaving Interpol. She watches as they get into their own specialized vehicles and drive off.

"Get in!" Brian shouts. "Let's go!"

She gets into her car and doesn't even buckle up before driving off with Brian, Tej and Roman. Han and Gisele were still back there trying to gun down the guy on the rooftop. She weaves through the streets keeping an eye on the Rover in front of her and Tej.

"Guys, I got the Rover," Tej says through the walkie.

"Okay, I got..." Roman trails off. He was following a dune buggy of sorts. "Whatever the hell that thing is."

As they weave through traffic, the Rover's back window is shattered and they aim some sort of gun looking device at the cars. The man shoots at all four cars but only hits Tej and Roman, for Brian and Teagan were able to swerve out of the way.

Teagan watches the hockey puck looking device on Tej's car go from blue to red. He then spins out of control and hit another car before making a full flip and landing upright.

"Tej!" She shouts and looks back. Only the front of the car was damaged, he looked fine.

Looking back up front Roman's car spins out of control and because she was too busy worrying about Tej, the front end of her car hits his back end. His car goes flying into the building while hers then starts to spin out of control. The driver's side of the car hits the back end of one parked and she starts flipping through the air.
