Finding Hope

Chapter six

Two weeks later

"How do you loose eight dragons?!" Chase cried as he paced.

"I hope Storm is ok" Mark sniffled.

"What could've happened?" Leo sighed.

"It's been two weeks, we've tried everything. We gotta call for help" Nathan stated.

"I did" Christina stated. "Earlier today, I got a message to Draconus. To Shimmer, asking for help"

"Why didn't you tell us!?" Jordan exclaimed.

"Cause I don't know if she even got i-" before Christina could finish, a loud thud was heard. The kids quickly left the barn, only to find a familiar dragon getting up. "SwiftFire!?"

"Hello Chris!" The sonic dragon greeted.

"What happened?" Christina giggled as he shook dirt off himself.

"Well, Shimmer got your message. You said you needed help, so a few of us got together and came to earth. I ran here and tripped a few moments ago" SwiftFire stated. "GUYS, I FOUND THEM!!!!"

"We heard you loud and clear, calm down SwiftFire" came a call as a couple other dragons landed.

"Shimmer, Thank firestar you came" Christina breathed.

"What happened?" Shimmer asked.

"Two weeks ago, the dragons just vanished. We have no idea what happened to them, but we weren't able to find them. Maybe cause we're human, but we gotta find them. The bonds are so weak, we can't locate them with the bonds. We're being blocked by something" Christina explained.

"Everyone partner up. We need to find those dragons, quick" Shimmer ordered.

"I have a bad feeling about this" Christina said, getting onto Shimmer's back. Mark tried to climb onto Spirit's back, only to fall on his behind. Spirit giggled and gently picked the youngest rider up on her wing. Mark laughed, sliding down her wing. He settled on her back easily.

Jordan mounted Flameburst who shifted a little, the added weight on his back an alien feeling to the fire dragon. Leo climbed onto SwiftFire who tucked his wings close. Jade climbed onto Lotus's back, and he chuckled as she clung to him. Nathan gladly climbed onto Jewel's back and she giggled, shivering with excitement.

Hunter and Chase looked at the unknown dragons in front of them. A lightning dragon, like Firework, looked at Hunter before lowering a wing. Hunter climbed on. Chase and a gem dragon did the same. Standing near by was a music dragon, a light dragon, and a shadow dragon.

"Friends of yours?" Leo asked.

"Yes. The Lightning dragon is Warper, the Lightning lords son. The gem dragon is Emerald, his sister is the gem dragons lady. Cleff is the music dragon ladies son. The light dragon is Smith, his mother is Margaret. And the shadow dragon is crystal, Vincent's daughter" Shimmer explained. "The wind lords daughter Luca wanted to come. But she wasn't able to"

"It's more than alright. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Christina Landers" Christina introduced herself to the new dragons.

"It's a pleasure, Christina" Crystal said kindly.

"Call me Chris" Christina said before Shimmer launched into the air. Christina held on and they flew through the air, soon being joined by the rest of the riders.

"WE NEED TO GET BRAD AND DESTINY, THEIR BY THE RIVER AT THEIR SCHOOL"

"LET'S GET EM' AND KEEP SEARCHING"

"YEAH!!!!"
