"Be careful honey" Nicky said, hugging Mark. Mark giggled, returning the affectionate gesture.
"Ok mom. But I have Storm, nothing can hurt me with her around!" Mark stated.
"Storm, take good care of my little boy" Nicky said to the female ice dragon beside her.
"Of course Nicky" Storm replied, nuzzling Nicky and Mark who both laughed. Behind them, Jordan was with Spitfire and Lexi.
"Stay safe Jordan. I'll make your favourite for dinner when you come home! Steak and mashed potatoes!" Lexi said happily.
"I have the best mom ever" Jordan stated, grinning. "See you in a few days mom, or less"
"I know. I love you, and don't forget to be safe. That goes for you too, spitfire!" Lexi stated, making Jordan laugh as Spitfire sighed.
"Fine Lexi. See you when we get back" Spitfire said. Nathan and Christina stood together between their dragons, watching the other riders say their goodbyes. Carly was fussing over Chase while Samantha documented it all. Jade was speaking to her father and Lilly. Leo was mounting Sky as his parents reassured Hunter's only present family member.
"Kick arse for me, bro!" Hunter's older brother said, and Hunter grinned.
"Sure Andy" Hunter replied. They grabbed hands in a rough shake before Hunter mounted Firework.
"Take care of my little brother, Firework!" Andy called.
"Is everyone ready?" Christina asked as she mounted Stardust, Destiny behind her.
"All good Chris" Jordan called. Brad mounted Whirlpool behind Nathan.
"Alright then Riders. Let's go save Alex!"
"YEAH!!!!"
"Hero time~!"
