Finding Hope

Chapter three

"Ugh. It's 4 in the morning" Christina groaned, rolling out of bed as the phone rang. She stumbled downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed the phone, answering it. {hello? It's 4 in the morning}

{Christina, it's Hunter. Oh my god, you were right. Eggs, they hatched, what do we do!?} came an alarmed cry.

{Hunter? Oh} Christina yawned. {Relax. The hatchling's just need some food and you should probably name them}

{A-Alright. What next?} Hunter shakily responded.

{I'll get Jade and we'll come over} Christina stated. {Just give me your address}

{Alright, it's-}

"Remind me again why it had to be so early" Jade yawned as she got off Lilly, Christina only chuckled as they walked to a city house.

"Cause their idiots" Christina replied, knocking. A moment later, Chase answered. A hatchling was on his head. The little ones scales were a soft grey and light purple in certain spots. "Hey"

"Woah" chase stared at the two dragons behind the girls.

"Those are our dragons" Jade said. Hunter appeared behind Chase with a brightly yellow and gold coloured hatchling in his arms.

"What now?" Hunter questioned.

"Get ready, we're taking you out for a bit to explain" Jade stated. The duo shared looks before getting shoes on and following Christina to Stardust.

"Hunter, you can ride with Jade, and Chase will come with me" Christina stated.

"Alright" Chase and Hunter said.

"This is Stardust, he's my dragon" Christina stated.

"A pleasure to meet you both" Stardust said politely.

"Cool. This is Cloud" Chase stated, holding up his little hatchling.

"And this is Firework" Hunter stated, his golden hatchling pouncing on Christina who laughed.

"Let's get going"

"There's a lot to explain"

"Is this really a good idea?"

"Their riders now, they need to know"

"Alright little one, I trust your judgement"
