Spoilers ahead. Beware!

I recently made a startling discovery. The symbol for Hydra, the Nazi supporting organization in Marvel Comics, is a skull with tentacles. The spaceship used by Brainiac in the Superman comics is a skull with tentacles. I don't know why I didn't see it before. Brainiac is clearly a member of Hydra trying to establish a foothold in the DC universe! You may be wondering what agent he could possibly be. In the movie Captain America and the Winter Soldier, Dr. Zola is revealed to have downloaded himself into a computer system, so Dr. Zola is Brainiac!

Marvel caused an uproar among fans by making Captain America a secret member of Hydra. There have been a multitude of times where Hydra has been one step from world domination only to be thwarted by Captain America. If he is working for them, he's terrible at his job. Captain America has disposed of hundreds of their soldiers, blown up their facilities, cost them immensely in money, manpower, and equipment. Was all of that to maintain his cover? In the words of Tony Stark, "Not a great plan."

Captain America being a member of Hydra makes about as much sense as James Bond being a sleeper agent for SPECTRE. Then again, SPECTRE's emblem has tentacles, very similar to the emblem for Hydra. NOOOOOOO!
