Chapter Two

That's Lucas above and he will be played by Brandon Flynn. Before you ask, yes it's Justin from 13 Reasons Why. He's attractive also.

Lucas's POV

Cold, dark, wet, hell. Those are just a few words to describe where I'm being stored.

I'm not happy down here, I'd rather be with my family but my dad disowned me. I didn't think my own mate was going to disown me also. He looks at me with absolute hatred and disgust and I don't know why. I always thought mates were supposed to be loving and caring but he's not. He's cold, distant and rude.

I think he needs to grow a pair and face me like a man but I wouldn't be able to do that, I'd just jump on him and kiss him until I died. But I know that'll never happen. I get up only to trip and stumble back. I looked down at my leg and sighed. I forgot I'm chained up. I'm being treated like an actual prisoner here. I don't understand why though, I didn't do anything wrong. It's not like I was plotting to kill anyone.

The door opened and a pregnant, red headed girl opened my cell door.

"Come with me." She whispered.

I followed her and I squinted at the blinding lights. We walked to the pack house and I heard a lot of screaming and yelling.

I saw my mate yelling at this girl and they looked like they were about to kill each other.

"Alright, enough, I get it! You're fucking angry-"

"I'm not angry, I'm livid!"

"Austin?" I called out.

Everyone looked at me and Austin got angry again.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you in the cells?"

"I let him out." The red head walked over to the girl and held her mates hand.

"Why?! He was there for a reason!" Austin yelled.

"No, Austin, he wasn't. He's your mate, he doesn't deserve to be locked up." She replied.

He growled and lunged at her. Her mate punched Austin and I growled out jumping in. No one was going to hurt my mate regardless of how he treated me.

I got pulled away and the girl took Austin upstairs.

"Please, let him go." I called out weakly.

Another girl replied, "She won't do that. She can't risk putting anyone's life in danger. Especially yours. She won't hurt him too bad."

"She's going to hurt him?" I squeaked out surprised.

She smiled sadly and replied, "Yes, but it's only to calm him down. They're twins so they know what to do when the other is upset."

I sighed out and nodded. He was taken upstairs and I got so worried. The woman walked over to me and held out her hand. "I'm Rachel, I'm the Luna of a pack of rogues we have and the woman up there with your mate is my mate Karen. She's alpha of the pack and Austin's twin."

"You two are together?" I asked astonished.

"Yeah, we've been together for almost ten years. What's your name?"

"Lucas."

The door opened and Karen walked out and nodded towards the door.

"You can go in."

I rushed in and closed the door. I looked at Austin and my breath was taken away.

"Austin."

"What?"

"Let's get a chance to know each other. I'm Lucas."

"I don't have time for this."

"But why? I'm a really good catch. I can cook extremely well, I'm not a fighter but I'll fight if I have to, I'm pretty decent at it."

"Stop!" He roared.

I whimpered and cowered back. "You're weak. I need a strong mate, not a pushover."

He got up and walked out of the office. I stood there and cried again.
