You saw Lay sitting at his piano again. He played a few notes and then transcribed the notes on paper.

"What are you doing this time?" You asked him. You leaned over his head and massaged his shoulder.

"A song for you. Probably my last one." He said, grabbing your hand.

Your eyes drooped for you loathed when he speaks of subjects like that.

"Stop saying that," you told him as you pulled away. You turned your back towards him and he hugged you from behind.

"I don't even know if we should continue the wedding. What if you become a widow for the rest of your life?" He whispered softly.

"Well I'm not stopping the wedding no matter what. I love you and I don't care what you have. I said 'yes' to your proposal so you should not back out. Plus, I wouldn't love another man in my life."

"Would you like to pick out a wedding dress soon then?"

It was the first time that he said something positive about the wedding in a while. Lay proposed to you a year ago. Two days later, he found out he was diagnosed with cancer. Lay has been to the hospital countless times since then. He was discharged from his last stay just last week. The surgeries didn't work and he became paler as time passed by. Lay was afraid for your future so he had dragged the wedding till now. You wouldn't give because Lay has become a part of you and it doesn't bother you that he has cancer. Your heart belonged to him. Only him.

"Really? You'll have to help me pick it out," you turned around and looked him in the eyes. Was he serious?

"I probably don't have enough strength for that. I'll stay to finish this song. Let's play it when you walk down the isle." He gave you a weak but kind smile and you nodded.

"Anything you create is beautiful. Remember to call me if you need ANYTHING. I'm going to go with Krystal."

"Promise," he said as he pulled you in for a kiss.

Your sister judged as you twirled in a pink bridal dress. It was strapped and the tail flowed.

"Why don't you try the white one?" She pointed to one hidden behind all the puffy gowns. You unearth it from the mess of lace and fabric and beamed.

"That's it. I'm not even going to choose anymore. This is perfect." You tried it on and looked in the mirror. Your dream wedding was halfway done. Krystal appeared from behind and clapped. She grabbed your phone and snapped a few photos.

"Lay's tuxedo is SOO gonna be white."

"It suits him," you said to yourself as you smiled at the ground. Your head suddenly felt dizzy. Why is the ground spinning? The next thing you know, everything was black.

You sat up and rubbed your eyes.

"Is cancer contagious?" You thought as you realized you were in the hospital. You faintly saw Krystal talking to a doctor. What...is going on?

Krystal slowly walked in and closed the door behind her.

"Do I have cancer?" You asked her.

"No," she said. She looked like she had something more to say.

"But your baby might."

"B-baby?!" You gasped as you looked at your stomach. "Oh my goodness! Since when?! Th-"

"The doctor says you've been pregnant for about a few weeks. Because Lay has cancer, it might be genetic. He says the baby is still too small to check on."
