You leaned over the bridge and looked into the river. It was clear and you could see a few fish and pebbles. You were waiting for your boyfriend, D.O. He asked you to come here because he needed to take you somewhere but he didn't tell you what it was.
"It's a surprise. Just go there. I promise I'll come," he'd said as he drove off after dropping you off at your house.

You checked your watch again to see the time. He's ten minutes late. "He better not be dissing me," you thought to yourself. You picked up a little rock and dropped it into the river. You watched the ripples form across the smooth surface and you noticed a piece of your hair was out of place but it didn't bother you. D.O likes it when you don't wear make up with your natural hair. Beside your reflection, you suddenly saw a shape forming beside you.
"Sorry I'm late," D.O said. "It took longer than I thought." He mumbled.
"Hmm?" You asked.
"Oh nothing. Wanna have lunch? My treat." He said.
"Haha you asked me out here just for lunch?" You said. It wasn't a big surprise but you found it sweet.
"Maybe," he said with a mysterious grin. "We'll see."
"Looking forward to it!" You exclaimed as you pecked his cheek.
"Seoul's Garden?" He asked, taking your hand.
"Sounds good to me!"
You two walked toward the little restaurant swinging your linked hands....

Dessert time at Seoul's Garden

"Done?" D.O asked as he wiped your mouth.
You smiled shyly as you nodded your head.
"Anything I can help you with?" The waiter asked.
"Dessert please," D.O said.
"Coming right up, sir!"
"You didn't tell him what dessert you wanted..." You said.
"It's your favorite," D.O replied. As soon as he finished the waiter comes and sets your favorite dessert on the table.
"Oppa what is this? Why is it in a box?" You laughed as you untied the ribbons and opened the pastel box. Inside was a mess of strings tied together in the middle like a maze. At the center was a ring.
"Omo... What..."
"_____, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one for me. You're smart and talented and you're the best girlfriend in this world. I love you dearly and it would be an honor to be with you for the rest of my life. Will you... Will you... Gosh this is embarrassing." He took a deep breath while a wide smile spread across your face.
"Will you marry me? Take the ring if you say yes okay? You have to take the ring in order to eat the dessert because you'll never untie all the strings. It took me hours to tie that and if you... Gosh just take the ring." He said as he turned around. You could tell he was embarrassed and you took the ring from the box, letting the strings unknot themselves. You got up and tapped D.O's shoulder.
"Hey put it on me," you said as you smiled.
"Really?!" He jumped as he took the ring and knelt down on one knee. D.O gracefully slid the ring on your finger. He rose up and hugged you.
"Don't forget your dessert," he whispered in your ear.
You pulled away and hurried back to the box.
"Hey you made this, didn't you?" You asked taking out the dessert from the box. He nodded as you watched you take a bite.
"It's delicious!" You cried.
D.O grabbed the dessert from your hand and waved it in your face.
"Give it back!" You said jokingly.
D.O laughed and you joined in. You two messed around but D.O pulled you into a hug at last.
"I love you, ____," he said as he kissed you.
