Beep. Beep. Beep.

I lazily reach over to my phone, switching off the alarm without opening my eyes. My head is buried in the pillow, my body under the warm covers where I want to stay all day. I try to cling onto sleep as long as I can, but the sound of footsteps climbing the stairs tells me I'm going to be interrupted in about ten seconds.

Right on cue, I hear a knock on the door followed by the sound of my Mom calling out to me, "Time to wake up honey, you're on drop off duty."

I let out a groan in return and my Mom calls out, "Come on Harls!"

"All right, I'm up!" I call back, my voice muffled in the pillow.

She walks away and I lazily open my eyes, the sunlight muted due to my dark grey curtains. I lay there for a moment before rolling into my back, wiping at my face. Sitting up, I throw my legs over the edge of the bed and get up to get ready for the day. I grab the first pair of jeans I find on the ground, sniffing a few shirts before pulling one on. After slipping on my sneakers, I grab my phone and wallet and a jacket as I walk out the door.

Voices echo up the stairway as I make my way down the stairs and into the kitchen. It's bustling as people manoeuvre around each other, the kitchen not being big enough for a family of seven.

"Morning. Nice to see you up and awake." Dad says, looking up from the newspaper as he drinks his coffee.

"Yeah, I had a late night." I say as I go over, making myself one in an attempt to wake myself up.

"That's because you were up all night stalking Madeline's profile." Mary snitches, a sneakiness in her tone as she sits at the counter.

I glare over at my sister as my Mom's interest is peaked, "Madeline? Who's Madeline?"

"No one." I say, glaring at my sister who smirks devilishly back at me.

I wish that Mom would let this go, but years of experience tell me that that's not going to happen. As she gathers up her handbag, she looks over towards me with curious eyes, "Is she a girl from college?"

"She's no one Mom." I murmur, avoiding her eyes as I grab a slice of toast off of Sammy's plate.

"Hey!" He protests, frowning up at me, "That's mine."

"Too bad." I say, taking a bite out of it, "Besides, you're gonna be late for school. Let's roll out Winchesters."

"Bye Mom and Dad." I hear Jo say, getting up from her seat.

"Bye sweetheart." Mom says, walking over and placing a kiss on her cheek as Dad calls out, "Bye baby girl."

Jo rolls her eyes at Dad's comment as Sam quickly finishes off his juice, "Bye Dad, Mom."

"Bye kiddo. Hey, make sure you kick the other teams ass today in hockey." Dad answers and Mom drowns at him, "Dean."

"What?" He says with a shrug and she rolls her eyes at him. She steps over to Sam and places a kiss on his cheek, to which he pulls away and groans, "Do you have to do that Mom?"

"Yes, I do. I gave birth to you, I can give you a kiss on the cheek." She says, using the excuse she always uses.

"Bye Mom and Dad." Mary calls out, picking up her bag from the ground.
