My heart is pounding in my chest as I fight off the overwhelming fear and pain going through me. The car races across the asphalt towards the hospital where my sister lies in a bed.

"Come on. Come on." I hiss at the red light before me, it soon turning green.

Before long, I'm parked beside my Mom's car in the parking lot. I shut the car off and lock it before rushing in the front doors. Nurses and other sick or injured people are in the waiting room, but I ignore them as I rush toward the front desk. An older, sandy blonde haired lady dressed in scrubs sits behind the counter, typing a computer.

"Can you please tell me where Joanna Winchester is?" I ask in a rush. The woman looks up from the computer towards me, "Are you any relation?"

"I'm her brother." I state desperately and she nods and stands up, "Follow me."

She walks out from around the desk and begins to walk down the hallway towards where the emergency rooms are. People fill each room, with family members and friends sitting around their loved ones. We soon reach the end of the hall and she gestures to the room on the left.

"Thank you." I murmur before turning the corner, where all my family is.

Dad is standing at the end of the bed, arms folded over his chest with a hard look on his face as he looks forward. Mary sits on the end of the bed in front of him, her hands resting on my mother's shoulder, who is holding Jo's hand with tears streaming down her face. My brother sits on the opposite side, holding his twin's with a pained look on his face.

"What happened? Is she alright? What did the doctor say?" I question, rushing into the room and causing all eyes to turn to me.

Mary is the first to speak, "She was brought in with a broken leg and wrist, with some internal bleeding. She went into surgery and the doctor was able to fix her up pretty easily. She's got a concussion, which the doctors want to keep an eye on."

"Oh my god." I whisper, running my hand through my hair as I feel myself begin to tear up.

"Where the hell were you?" Dad growls and I turn, seeing his hard and furious eyes set on me.

"Dad-" I begin, having no idea what I'm going to say when Mom cuts me off with the same tone, "You were meant to pick up your sister from her practice. You were an hour late."

"I'm sorry-" I begin when my brother yells at me, "She walked home and was side swiped by a car. Why the hell weren't you there to pick her up?!"

Fury covers his face, showing his close bond with his twin. Sam and Jo have always been close, almost inseparable their whole lives. To see him in this much pain breaks my heart, almost as bad as the thought of my sister walking home alone because of me.

"I'm sorry! I was caught up in something." I state, knowing how pathetic that sounds.

"Caught up?" Dad questions, his eyes narrowed, "That's your excuse? You were caught up in something?"

He gestures towards Jo's unconscious body, "Your sister is in hospital, fighting for her life Harlow! I'm gonna need more than 'I was caught up in something.'"

I meet his eyes and see the disappointment in them, the anger and heartache he feels for his daughter. I want to say something, but I'm at a loss for words of what to say.
