I sat awkwardly across from Dr. Aragon's hefty desk. Scattered across the dark lumber were scrolls, parchments, demographics, books, and so much more. The only thing that stood there tidy and presentable was his silver nameplate engraved with his name, Dr. Michaelis Aragon.

He sat impatiently in his leather chair. He scrunched his dark brows together while occasionally looking at his golden wrist watch. He finally muttered, "Whatever," before finally recognizing my existence.

"So, Miss Ivanov, I have to fill out a written report," He pulled out a form and a black fountain pen, "Just so you know, what I say seriously reflects your outcome in all of this."

"B-But," I began to stammer while putting my hands in front of me in surrender, "I don't what I did."

"You used magic in a rather offensive way," He retorted, and began to make marks on the form. I felt beads of sweat began to form on my forehead as I saw him write away.

"Sir, I mean Doctor," I tried to make him look at me, to distract him, "Please look at my student profile." That was the only way I could explain that I wasn't entirely at fault.

"You're right, I don't even know your first name," He dropped his fountain pen and briskly turned his chair to another desk behind him. He began typing away on the school-distributed laptop. I glanced to see what was in the laptop screen but all I saw was my horrible year book picture.

"Grandiss?" He finally broke the silence and turned his chair, cocking an eyebrow up. "You're apart of the Grandiss Coven?"

I simply nodded my head.

"But you can't use magic..?"

I nodded again, but this time trying to avert my eyes away from his piercing stare.

"But that magic...embedded in thepotion was most definitely yours, Miss Grandiss. There's no doubt about it."

"That's impossible," I began, "My while life I've been labeled as a non-magic user. It's the reason why I'm the lowest rank in the whole entire school."

Dr. Aragon shook is head disagreement, "That was before. Your magic has awakened, perhaps even way before. Here I'll show you—" He took out a familiar chart used in children magic academies.

It was the all too familiar chart I grew to despise, the Mag Kalle. It was a squared-shaped chart with a circle in the middle with a cross on top of it. Around the circle were four basic shapes, a triangle, circle, square, and an X. These symbols represent elements. On each corner of the chart, were more triangles, these represented the force of your magic.

"I'm sure you know about this," Dr

"I'm sure you know about this," Dr. Aragon tapped on the chart. "Here's a clean needle to prick yourself," He then handed me a packaged needle from his desk drawer.

The most crucial step was to put a single drop of your own blood straight in the middle of the chart. This would trigger everything...to discover the element and force of your magic. A classification.

A single second of sharp pain in the tip of my index finger was all it took to activate it, and immediate disappointment filled me whole.

There were no results on the Mag Kalle. Just a soft glow all over the board. There were no distinct colored glows or auras that usually showed the element you were.

"You have magic," Dr. Aragon gazed at the chart inquisitively, "Of course, to others, it might appear just the opposite."

I sat there dumbfounded, I could only utter out, "What?"

"Back in University, we had theorized about different magic not apparent on the Mag Kalle," Dr. Aragon rested his gaze on me, "Of course, our professor debunked our theory immediately. All magic shows on the Mag Kalle, even if it is not apparent as others. This was extremely rare and unheard of, however."

He took a small pause before continuing, "There are those who are able to dictate every element and force on the Mag Kalle. These users are called Omnipotent," He then took out a document encased in a manilla folder, "The only omnipotent user in existence was a French man by the name of Arion."

He opened up the folder, revealing a stack of documents filled with a dangerous amount of information. Most importantly, on the top of each page it read 'ARION LEAUX'.

"This was the first project I took up in University when I took the Dispeller class," He scratched his head and shared a weary smile, "Let's just say I could never crack the code on this one. The Leaux Coven are witches who practice naturally, no magic or anything related."

He then held onto a certain document with the picture of a Mag Kalle, "When we got our hands on Arion Leaux's Mag Kalle, everything we knew didn't make sense." He shared a sharp gaze towards me, "But there are more out there. I believe you are one of them, Caroline."

I shook my head in disbelief, "But how can you conclude all that from a simple potion concoction? And a failure of a Mag Kalle?"

"The science and proof is there," He pointed at my own Mag Kalle in front of me and then pointed towards the Leaux's Mag Kalle. "You share the same attributes with the Leaux Mag Kalle. The same glow. However, if you truly don't believe me, than consult a higher ranked Dispeller or something."

Dr. Aragon let out a hearty chuckle, "After all, it's been a year and a half since I graduated University. My knowledge on these things aren't all that great."

My eyes bulged in surprise, "What? Just how young are you, Doctor?"

He mysteriously smirked, "Young enough to be considered a senior in this academy, yes?"

---
Before you guys hop on my ass about the Doctor's young age and why Caroline is so surprised —even though she could've made a guess by his young appearance — Most witches, warlocks, and any magic user live up to hundreds of years while keeping a young, youthful appearance.

In the first chapter I mention Caroline's mother briefly passing away at 127, 'barely an adult in a witch lifespan'.

So, essentially, Dr. Aragon could've been 120 years old and still have the appearance of a teenager, which is what Caroline presumed.

But, he's only 18! Which is a huge shock to Caroline, because most Dispellers, Teachers, Professors, and Doctors aren't awfully young. They usually are 80-100, but Dr. Aragon is a very special case.
