Two words; SoMo Sunday. Umph. His voice is intoxicating and that was one of the main reasons that made me start this fanfic because when I listen to him everything else seems to melt away and I just wanted to share it with you guys.
"Less stress, More love" - Joseph Somers-Morales
Joseph's POV:
We just made it to Greensboro, North Carolina. We're still touring, but all I can think about is Erika. I feel like an idiot that went out and did something that stupid when I should've been there for her. I should've been supporting her, telling her I would be there for her, but I let my petty emotions get in the way. She meant too much to lose. I didn't want to do something to screw up any of my chances. I mean, I know we haven't even gone on a date and I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend, but regular rules don't apply to her.
We're in a new hotel room and she's sitting on my lap as we're on this huge recliner chair, where she's reading a book about photgraphy. Her tiny hands grasp around the pages and her red nail polish pops out. Her back is arched and it looks like it would hurt to hang her neck like that so I kiss her there and try to massage her shoulders. To my surprise, Ika was really tense. I thought at first that she was really focused on whatever she was reading, but then I realized that she was drifting off. She was daydreaming because she seemed to loose her place and have to start the sentence again. When she had to start to loose her place, her eyebrows would scrunch up and she'd shake her head slightly out of frustration.
I decided to ask her about it, "Hey, babe, why don't you take a break? That book looks like it's stressing you out," I said jokingly. I smiled sincerely at her, with my best intention.
"Uh, yeah. That's not a bad idea, actually," she replies, while still seeming to be in another place.
"It's raining outside. It's like perfect weather to cuddle to a movie," I tell her, hoping to get a laugh out of her. Usually, she'd giggle really loudly. All she does is smile, which is better than nothing.
"Actually, I think I'm just going to take a nap, you're welcomed to join me," She says as she grabs my hand.
"Alrighty, why not? You think if I get more beauty sleep, that I'll be even hotter?" I ask confidently.
"Nah, I think if you get any more beauty sleep, you're going to have to run away from all the girls trying to do you," she replies.
"Well, there's only one I'd want running to me." I say, hoping she'd get my hint. She didn't seem to smile or make any expression.
She pulls me towards my bedroom and climbs in. She takes off her pajama shorts because she easily gets hot. I get in and pull the cover us with it.
"Uhm, this is going to sound strange, but uhm can you take off your sweatpants cause they're like rubbing up against me weird?" she asks still turned away from me. I laugh at her request because she seemed embarassed to ask it.
"Baby, if you wanted my pants off, all you had to do was ask." I spit out. She turns around immediately and her mouth turns into an o in shock. She starts to blush, which I think is adorable.
"OH MY GOSH, no. Just, no," she says laughing. It was nice to hear her laugh, again.
We both get in to bed and I wrap my arm around her waist. She grabs my hand and holds it as she places it on her stomach.
I drift off to sleep with the scent of her mango shampoo and the natural scent of her skin.
A few hours later~
I wake up, still hazy and have a bad taste in my mouth. Then, I realize she's not in bed with me anymore. I get up and check all the rooms. She's not in there.
Oh, god not again. Dear god please tell me she's okay. She's somewhere near and she's perfectly healthy. I go and check my phone hoping she left me a message to where she was.
Erika: Wasn't feeling well. Went to the doctor's. Don't worry, I'll be back soon.
DON'T WORRY?! You don't just go to the hospital when there's nothing to worry about, Erika. Jesus, why doesn't she wake me up?! I'd frekin' gladly take her wherever she'd want to go.
I call Cody because he seemed to have more insight about her.
"Cody!"
"Uh, yeah?"
"Erika left. I don't know where she is. We were taking a nap and then I woke up and she wasn't there. She said that she wasn't feeling well, to not worry, and that she'd be back soon, but I'm worrying."
"Okay, Okay. Uh, first, calm down. Won't help if I have to worry about the both of you. Okay she said she wasn't feeling well, was she okay before you guys napped or whatever you were doing in the same bed?"
"Cody, holy crap, we were just napping. I wouldn't try anything with her. Anyways, yeah, she was fine. She seemed okay, a little tired. She kept drifting off from her book, like she couldn't pay attention and she seemed a little too calm."
"Ah, crap. -" I cut him off before he can finish, "Crap? WHY CRAP? Is she going to be okay?"
"Shut up, yeah I think so. We'd just better hurry."
I am so nervous. I'm so worried. Why couldn't she have just waken me up? I swear I am never sleeping again, just so I can be there for her. I wait in front of the hotel for about ten minutes until Cody shows up.
"Get in." He says in a rushed tone.
