I slowly walked over to them, they all came up to me and hugged as if it has been forever since I’ve seen them. “It was only a weekend.” I said quietly,
“Oh my gosh, Katelyn what are you wearing?!” Josie asked loudly
“What, does it look bad?” I asked her nervously
“Oh honey no no no, today I told you we were all wearing pink…remember?” Josie said
“Yea don’t you remember?” Ericka said
“Oh…I..umm totally forget…” I said totally lying straight to Sophie’s face. I didn’t want to tell her what happened this morning quite yet because I knew she would totally over react. I think she noticed that I wasn’t myself though, because in 1st hour I heard her talking to Ericka about me. So I walked over to them and asked them why they were talking about me, but all they did was look at each other in shock that I heard them talking about me.
“Oh…well, we were talking about how we were wondering if you were ok because you’re acting.. different.” Josie said nervously
“I’m... fine.” I said not telling her what I felt this morning
“Are you sure, we’re always here for you.” Ericka and Josie said
“Okay, fine this morning I felt super, super sad I felt like just dying.” I said tears building up in my eyes.
“Don’t worry honey; we’re always here for you!” Josie said. I told them I had to go to my next class and left.
